Blue Time

I can't lie--one of the big reasons I am sad we are moving is because of the Aggies. The school spirit up here is amazing, and we love going to all of the events. We will still come up when we can, but it won't be the same.

Of course, Hadley knows that her and Big Blue are best friends. She gets so excited when we are going to games. She picks out if she is going to be a cheerleader, Aggiette, or b-ball player and wear her jersey. (When I asked her last night if she was going to be a cheerleader or Aggiette when she went to school there, she replied with Aggiette. Good girl). She insists on having her pom-poms (last night it was 2) and all the way to the game practices with "go big blue!" "go aggies!" and "go cheerleaders!" She LOVES when the spirit squad dances.
We always get to the game a little early so we do a lap around the top of the stadium first. Then we sit in our seats for about 2 minutes before Hadley is off. She likes to sit in the stairway (and luckily they let her), and she spends a lot of time visiting all of her friends that sit by us. She asks constantly to go walk around.
At last night's game she saw Blue a few times, but then in the 2nd half he was by us and she reached right out. He picked her up and sat with her for quite a while. She thought that was the coolest thing ever. A lady that sits behind us told me to stop bringing Hadley because that is all she pays attention to the whole game.
We usually sneak out a few minutes early to beat the traffic and get Hadley to bed. She always waves at the whole crowd as we make our way up the long stairs. Of course, everyone waves back too.

We will miss our Aggies!

Dramatic Twos

I feel like I am overdue for a Hadley update. I could pretty much update every few days with the funny things that come out of her mouth.

She has officially reached the "Hadley do it" phase. She insists on helping or doing everything. She makes most of her breakfast, cleans, and gets herself dressed and undressed for the most part. She also goes potty on the potty which is soooo nice, and it was so easy. I am not complaining one bit.

She loves the iPad. She always wants to watch elmo, blues clues, or play on it. I just got an iPhone (thanks to B2), and she loves doing all of that on mommy's phone too.
Everyone knows the term terrible twos, and for us that isn't true at all. It is more like the dramatic twos. Everything is drama. We have a lot of talks about no whining and no grumpies. Now if I say she has to be happy she says "no grumpies."

Like I said...helping me with everything. It is 99% of the time not helpful, but she loves it. She does pretty good if you give her a Clorox wipe though.
She still loves gymnastics and has officially mastered a somersault on her own. She told me that she loves boys and is always asking to play with kids. This weather has been cramping our style a lot so we look forward to gymnastics and going to the tramp park to play.
We made a desperate run to the dollar store to buy some "arts and crafts." So...she had her first bite of glue which was fun. She loves putting stickers on anything and everything and coloring.
We tried to get as much snow time in as we could before the temperature plummeted again (right now it is -11 at 10:00 am). We haven't been able to do real sledding yet though so hopefully this week. She loves the little hill in papa's backyard.
We (and by this I mean I) made her first snowman. She went and grabbed her lawn chair and chilled next to him. The next day he was covered and 2 days later you could barely see him.
I think it's about time I start a Hadley blog with her quotes. Yesterday when we were driving I said, "We're cool Hadley." She goes "NO! NO! NO COOL!" and then "We're pretty."

Love this little girl.
