Recuperating

Olivia caught a stomach virus earlier this week, so she has been having a little extra rest time each day  with her "guys" and videos.  Although I am fairly certain she would have rather just skipped the "yuckies in the bucket" part of the illness, I think she might just milk the recuperating part for all it is worth!

Baby #2 Update

Baby Girl #2 is officially 25 weeks along today.  I had another doctor's appointment yesterday and our little baby girl continues to do well.  I measured exactly at 25 weeks and continue to put on the pounds!  My blood pressure is also staying low, which I like to see!  Unfortunately, my growing belly has started to contribute to some sore muscles and back pain.  I decided it was time to use my Christmas present from Jon and went to the spa to get my prenatal massage yesterday.  Dr. Kemper gave me permission to tell Jon I really need to go in for a massage every week :)  Here is another picture of my growing belly:

YIPPEE

YIPPEE for sunny days and warm weather and playing outside and rain boots and splashing in puddles and giggles and a happy little girl YIPPEE!

Happy Valentine's Day

Olivia had a special day full of Valentine surprises and a little too much sugar!  Grandma Linda stopped by in the afternoon and delivered a valentine package and heart cookies! We had a Valentine supper waiting for daddy when he got home (a little later than originally anticipated due to an unexpected baby that had to be delivered...but at least we were all still able to enjoy our meal together!) Olivia used all her patience waiting for daddy to get home, and she was more than ready to dig into her brownie sundae once we finally set it in front of her! Reading her special Valentine's Little Critter book with dad. Livi says THANKS for all the special Valentines she received this weekend and Happy Valentine's Day!

Frosty

Olivia was so excited the snow was packable enough today to make a "Frosty," that she insisted on making TWO!  Grandma Syl helped make the first one at grandpa and grandma's house.  Olivia had fun helping grandma roll the big snow-ball! Livi thought "Frosty" needed a broom like her video "Frosty the Snowman."  She was also quite upset "Frosty" did not talk (and come to life) once we had him all dressed. :) A Wolfpack hat for grandpa Jim and Olivia's favorite part: Oreo eyes. This afternoon when we got back to Sioux Falls, Olivia and daddy ventured out to make a "Frosty" for Livi's house complete with oreo eyes and play-dough buttons per her request.

Livi's choice of apparel for the day...

I only wish I hadn't done the same thing as a child (imagine swimsuit instead of sweatshirt) so I could make fun of her for this in years to come.  Like mother, Like daughter I guess.
