Before anyone gets too excited about the title of my post, let me explain. I love Christmas music. Every year, as the leaves begin to show their colors and the heat of summer fades to the chilly feel of fall, I slip one of my Christmas CDs into a player and begin enjoying the sounds of the season. While the rest of the world is carving pumpkins and stuffing turkeys, I am silently humming carols and anxiously awaiting the birthday of our King. Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy a good jackolantern and delight in giving thanks around a turkey feast, but all along I look toward Christmas, enjoying its wonderful music while I wait. Now, I agree that it is 'much' too early to start thinking about Christmas right now. But in a month, maybe two? It's really more of a feeling than an actual date for me.
