Day 3 (Saturday) in Nicaragua... The hotel we stayed at in Leon was called Hotel Libano. It wasn't quite as 'Americanized' as our first hotel. Let's just say we took cold showers every day. ;). However, it made up for it with it's own little local charm. Dan is a coffee expert (he works for Coffea in Sioux Falls and helps source coffee beans). So Jon and Dan were happy to find this little French Bakery and Cafe next door to our hotel with some pretty good coffee! The street our hotel was on. We headed back to the clinic where we were served breakfast. Another way Marwel gets new patients is by going out to different churches in the area and inviting a group to come in about 10 people at a time for check-ups. On this particular morning, a group came in ranging from little children to elderly. First, Marwel leads them in devotions and singing before starting the clinic.
