Loving Chi-town

We had a wonderful few days in Chicago! We stayed busy and on our feet, but we got to see and do so many things. We toured Wrigley, walked Michigan Avenue, saw the Chicago shoreline from 1,000 feet up and chowed down on deep dish pizza.

Thanks to Mitchell and Leah who proved to be the greatest tour guides of Milwaukee. From the art museum to the Bronze Fonz to rooftop dining at Benelux, we loved spending our day with them!

Back down in Chicago, we toured the Chicago River on Chicago's First Lady, rode the ferris wheel at Navy Pier, water taxied to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium (both of which we saw the lobbies of but didn't have a chance to explore, had to save something for next time, right?!), and we pictured ourselves in "The Bean".

The reason we ventured to the Windy City was to witness one of our favorite bands, Coldplay. Oh. My. Goodness. What an amazing show! The fabulous music, the energy of Chris Martin and the flashing wristbands, well...definitely the best concert we've ever been to.

We got back home just in time to celebrate Jon's 32nd birthday and attend the Vinland Fair. Pictures from there soon : )
