Last nights monsoon

The monsoon last night in the Valley was amazing! Seriously, I haven't seen a storm with that much power in quite a few years. I almost turned my commuter's off for fear they would get fried! Here's Jonathan, helping some neighbors out before their garbage can's flew halfway down the street! I'm just posting these because the rain was so fun! -darby

Amanda and I are going to be offering really fun shoots for families/couple/small children who want photos ready for Christmas and Christmas or holiday cards. Or if you just want to get some killer family photos done!

The packages will be $200 and will look and be just as fun as all of our other shoots, include the digital negatives, a 1-1.5 hour shoot and have a 60 day online viewing page where you can order photos, cards, ect right from our pro lab! All shoots will include photos of each group and individual if wanted.

We are so excited about doing these shoots and can't wait to get started. We are hoping to shoot in August and September primarily in order to get the photos back in time for cards!

Finally ordered some photos...

so i kind of forget sometimes that i can order photos for my own use :) i finally ordered a few weddings photos, the big ones are 16x20 and the smalls mostly 5x7, though one is 5x5!

And here it is after another few trips to Ikea, Micheals and Joanne's. We are still working on lighting up the shelf above the chair, we jsut didn't get that far... and look, we even added a dog to the picture (we are dogsitting this week)

we just got back from target and picked up TWO copies of harry potter so jon and i could read it at the same time, ultimate nerdfest...

So I just set up a blog for my sister Allison, and was posting her first blog post and I put up some photos I had of our family. so I thought I'd stick them here too!

oh my gosh the tree fell down

so we have an ugly house, i'll admit it. (the inside is pimp) but the house is ugly. well to add to that, this past monsoon storm blew our pathetic tree over and snapped the stake in two... i had fun trying some fun filters in photoshop out on them... darby

My newest....lens

I just got a new lens and I wanted to try it out...so I did on my new niece. It is amazing! It is a macro lens, so I can shoot very close to a subject and the subject appears very large in the lens! I love it!
