Graduation

Jon graduated from UCSD last Sunday with his bachelors degree in Human Biology. Here are some pics from the day.

As we were all walking toward the grass field where graduation was I realized I was one of the only ones pushing a stroller - a double stroller at that!! Yes, crazy enough to bring two little ones to graduation. Luckily Heidi, Jason and Emily came along to help out. There were a lot of seats in between us and other people so the kiddos had a bit of room to run around. Thank you Heidi and Jason for coming!!

Jon with the kids. Mallory had long passed out by that point, but Brady was very excited to see his daddy.

Congratulations Jon, we know you have worked very hard for this and taken classes where I didn't even understand what the title of the class meant! We are so proud of you!

Sea World

Yesterday was the last day our sea world passes were good so we decided to make a night of it. Brady loves the shamu show especially the part were they do the "Shamu Splash".

Earrings!

Mallory got her ears pierced a few weeks ago. We decided to do it while she was little and wouldn't mess with them. She did great!

Jon held her (because I was such a wimp, I could barely watch). We kept dipping her pacifier in orange soda - isn't sugar a natural anesthetic? :) She was so brave!

Here is the little cutie pie just moments after - the tears already gone!

Stay tuned

Mallory's blessing pictures and Easter weekend pictures coming soon!

Lets go fly a kite...

We had a great time with Jon's parents in town. We went down to the bay and had a picnic and flew kites. I haven't flown a kite since I was a kid! The weather was absoultely gorgeous and made for a fun day.

Wild Animal Park - Part 3

**Ok the animal park pics are out of order...just start at the bottom and then come up. Or look at them out of order. Blogger and I are fighting today.

Grandma Robbins took Brady for a ride on the scooter - he loved it!

Mallory with her new baby lion

Brady scored some toys too, however only the Cheetah made it home. The tiger fell out of the stroller at some point, never to be recovered :( Hopefully it has a good home with another little kid.

Wild Animal Park- Part 2

I love the Lion exhibit at the park. I guess this one likes the view from the top of the car...

The new baby Rhino

The petting zoo. I think they only have deer in there. I want them to tame some Cheetas and let us pet those!

Wild Animal Park

We went to the Wild Animal Park on Jon's birthday with his parents.

There is a cool exibit at the park where you can feed the birds nectar. These birds know the routine - as soon as we walked in holding the little cups they just came over and landed on us. One even landed on Brady's head, however I was too busy trying to avoid getting pooped on and I missed that shot. (Let us not forget many moons ago Cheryl getting pooped on by the seagulls at Sea World - on my cheek!! Not a big fan of the birds here.)

Hands were all throughly washed afterward. And then Purelled for good measure.

Mallory the Lizard

I think this picture is hilarious. Just had to share.

Like brother like sister

You think they're related? They're practically twins!

Mallory 2 months old

Brady 3 months old

Take me out to the ballgame

Brady went to his first Padres game of the season with Jon, Larry, Jason & Paul. They had a great time. Jon made sure Brady was well dressed for the occasion!

We love the bleacher seats at Petco. There is a giant sandbox that goes up to the outfield where the kids can play. Sometimes the cheapest seats in the house can be the best! (At least when you have a 2 year old)

Brady's haircut

Brady has gotten only a few haircuts in his life....the first being the removal of his mullet by Jon with a pair of paper sissors...the next by our cousins who buzzed it after they convinced us his hair was too long (which is was). So we got our own little home haircut kit and here are the results.

He started out happy because it tickles his head....that is until he made a sharp movement and got bumped (not cut) by the clipper/comb/guard/teeth/whatever looking thing and got scared. He flipped out and ran out of the kitchen with a half buzzed head.

We finally convinced him to take our peace offering - Cheetos.

Loving the Mexican food!

We made a little trip out to La Jolla the other day (just to find that the temple store was closed!) and stopped for a little lunch at El Torito. I've only eaten there a few times but the food was great - and surprisingly Brady was very well behaved. This is due to the fact that his new favorite food are "Tah-to's" (tacos). Thank goodness the kid has expanded beyond mac & cheese and chicken nuggets!

Brady eats his taco's starting in the middle. So funny.
