Our San Diego apartment

In case you want to see the sweet place we're living now, here are a few pictures and a video tour.

When you first walk in. Dining, living, kitchen.

From the kitchen, into the living room. The boys busy at playing with legos.

The boys' room. Their walk in closet is to the right.

It's a pretty big apartment complex. It's right across the street from Ikea, the library, Costco, and IHOP. What else could I possibly need? Oh, and there's a pool, hot tub, and fitness center here too. Who wants to come visit??

More of San Fran- Jon's visit, Fisherman's Wharf, Academy of Sciences, and Trolleys

This post is super picture heavy. You have been warned.

Jon and his dad and another friend rode their motorcycles from Washington to San Diego over the last several days. I'll have to write about that another time, but he did stop by San Francisco so we could say hello and give him hugs.

The boys liked climbing on the motorcycle in the back of the truck (I'll explain in a different post)

Steve noticed a Harley Davidson store down the street from where we met, so he took Sean with him to go get a balaclava (or baclava if you ask him)

Sean looks pretty tough, doesn't he?

After the guys got back on their way, Stacey and I took the kids to Fisherman's Wharf. Matthew kept asking to go on a boat. Not today little buddy. Then the boys climbed all over these sea lion statues.

Look! Stacey really is with us! Sean took this picture with her iphone and it was pretty funny watching him try to figure it out. A nice lady was trying to offer him help and he shooed her away saying he could do it.

Then we went to see the real sea lions. There was an injured one that some marine rescue people shot with a tranquilizer gun and were trying to help. It was pretty intense.

Super cool Matthew waiting for his lunch.

The next day we went to the Academy of Sciences. That place is really cool.  Their current exhibit is about earthquakes. They have a quake room that was fun. Matthew wanted to do it again and again.

We went through a rain forest with beautiful birds and butterflies.

And then there was a little tunnel to go through and see some amazing fish.

They had a bunch of other tanks with different creatures.

We were trying to watch a fish feeding at their Philippine Reef.

The baby ostriches were super darling!

In the gift shop, I saw this shirt that I very nearly bought because it made me laugh so hard.

Today we went to the city again to ride some trolleys. Matthew was especially excited about it! There was a long line, but it was worth it to see how excited they were to ride it.

We ended up back at the Wharf because we didn't get donuts when we were there earlier.

We have had so much fun while we've been visiting Stacey. It will be hard to leave. I'm so glad that we've been able to make this trip.
