Vintage Lady

Yeepee it's Thursday again, time for my weekly spot as DT host over at SDD

This weeks inspiration piece is 

Vintage Lady Silhouette card and insert

and here is my sample

I love this image!!!

I have made an A4 card, have matt and layered gold mirror card stock and cream card stock which have both been embossed with Picnic Plaid

I have then matt and layered onto more gold mirror card and pyramaged the image.

Flowers are by Petal Lu

This still needs a sentiment but not sure what yet.

Well i have been truly busy colouring in Mitzi's stunning artwork since i joined her facebook page.

I have used Elf with Poppy blooms for this card

I have truly fell in love with the images from Aurora Wings

I love the image Dancer with Pointe Shoes, she is so versatile.

Here are a few projects i have made with her.

Elf with Poppy Blooms

Good afternoon

Another card from me today.

I have been playing with a few stamps from the very talented AuroraWings

This card is made using Elf with Poppy Blooms

I love these images as you can play with different colours and they still look beautiful

stamp was coloured with :

skin : fs1,2,3 and 6

flowers : gb1,2 and 11

hair : fs6,7 and 8

buds and leaves : gb4,5 and 7

eyes : gb7

Good morning

Another card i have made using the the tips on the blog over at Spectrum Noir

Stamp is Woman with Gardenia and pearls by AuroraWings

pens used are:

skin : hb2, tn1 and 2, fs1 and 8

hair : ib2, ig3, bgr2 and bt2

flowers : dr1, cr6,7 and 8

leaves : lg1,3 and 4

stamped image is layered onto red and silver cardstock, then matted and layered onto blue and silver card stock.

sentiment is from LOTV

Been colouring

Well good evening folks, it's very windy tonight out there.

I have been following some of the new videos for the new generation Spectrum Noirs that Leann is filming at the mo.

I have also been following some of the other ladies blog tips on colouring.

So i was playing around the other night with skin tones and following the tips on the blog post

and here is my end result

Here is a list of the colours i used:

skin : HB2, TN1 and 2, FS 1 and 8

hair: EB1,3 and 8, TN1

leaves : CG1,2 and 4

flowers : TN1 and 2, IG1 and FS1

This was a commissioned piece for a lovely lady i met at a craft fair. The card is for her daughter's birthday and she wanted it to look vintage.

A tiny bouquet

Good Morning

Well it's Thursday again which means it's my day to host over on SDD

So if you are at a loose end and want some fun then pop on over to the group and see what is happening.

So for this weeks inspiration we were given 

A tiny bouquet

And this is my card.

It's a dl card (not made one in ages), i embossed some pink card stock with Ornate Butterflies, then matt and layered the topper.

I cut out the butterflies from another topper, made an acetate wrap and attached the butterflies to the front.
