ah...long weekend given the hari raya puasa just zapped by without a trace man. felt almost like a dream, so surreal. jeez. celebrated our 4 year anniversary on 9/9/10 at white dog's cafe. Had some combo for 2 that was not too bad. Had steak, mushroom soup, prawn & mussels... love the chocolate fudge drink @_@
saturday was one hell of a gastronomical experience HAHA! had gallery hotel's miharu ramen for lunch. following which went to claim our free stay at grand copthorne waterfront~ after that walked over to great world city bought cookies n cream icecream from island creamery & grabbed a small bottle of Riesling. headed back to cafe brio's for our international bbq dinner! spread was fantastic. oh, saw dr L & his wife there too. so qiao man! anyway totally chiong-ed the snow crab and fresh oysters @_@ among other food we had was scampi (nt nice one), leg of lamb, roasted pork, duck/chicken confit, salmon sashimi, bbq prawns, beef fillet, otah, lamb chops (bbq food was good stuff!). live station was the pasta station (oh how lucky, my favourite!). the cream mushroom spaghetti was surprisingly good. dessert was not too bad, the usual stuff..chocolate fondue, icecream, cakes & stuff. someone finished my creme brulee. kns. saw it at the start of the buffet then before even halfway thru the creme brulee was gone!!!!!! man...i wanna go there again pls...haha. jeez. was too bz with the eating...din get to take peektures man. NVM! going again this tuesday...for Oktoberfest!
woo..one more day to our 1 day trip to m'asia. woohoo! :D
on another note...work is getting draggy again. almost here for 9mths already but somehow i feel quite ____________ sometimes. (fill in the blank) Hai. mayb it's really the lack of job satisfaction. just today a senior said 'if u work at forensics, u'll die of some infectious disease; if u work here, u'll die of cancer' so true man. urgh. i NEED to get out. (it's not just a WANT anymore)
on a happier note...mom's finally done with all the treatment! woohoo! but now need to stay home to recuperate! ahhh i oso wanna recuperate at home, can? lol. celebrated today (last day for radio) by dining at ramen santouka@central. mmm. good ramen! :) abit pricey tho :X

rest days have started! went to timbre to chill w the poly gurls (yf, zq, yt & sn). i feel so broke but yet so refreshed and rejuvenated. haha. woot.
Oh man. Such a bad case of food poisoning. I swear i lost 5kg within these 2 days @_@ queasy, uncomfortable tummy. mixing & mixing....so much discomfort and lost of appetite :( i feel like festergut man. *cries*
Mm. Bored~ World Cup is finally into its semi finals but most of the favourites have gone home. It's the voodoo, man! :s
Can't believe how fast time passes. 4 years ago, when we just got together, we caught the 2006 world cup together. now, its already 4 years later. jeez. Did the 4 years pass by so soon?
Anyway, pardon my incoherent entry. Can't be bothered to organise it tbh. Weekend was great, I am contented, even though I had to work on saturday. Caught Toy Story 3 on friday evening. It was awesome. After tat we rushed back to try and catch the 10pm match. Which was disappointing, though rather exciting. Amidst the terrible lag we managed to catch a few goals though.
Saturday was good as well, though my tummy was having a bad case of flu, still is. :( Love came and waited for me to knock off. Pleasant surprise. Had a late lunch w the sweetie then went home. Napped alittle before going to West coast for dinner. Following that, was camped at west coast mac for the 10pm showdown. Sadly, it was a case of 'Dun cry for me Argentina'. Sigh* We both came back to my place and caught a few episodes of Glee. Whoa I must say i'm impressed and i understand why the bf is such a big fan of the show. HAHA. It's a really nice series; think they've outdone themselves. The singing, the dancing and the story is just excellent. I never would have thought I'd enjoy so music in a series.
Had a really weird dream in the afternoon while napping. I really need to avoid these late afternoon naps cos the dreams i get are always so horrifyingly disturbing and plain scary. For instance this afternoon i dreamt i had several sharp objects lodged into my right palm and i was struggling to pick each one out. There were pins, knives and blades. jeez. Freak out!
On the side note. I guess I am pretty worried about lots of things, much more than I would admit really. Maybe I'm trying to escape them as well. Idk. I'm worried about me being at my current job. I kind of dun really wanna be here for long, but right now I ain't got any choice, yet. Or shld i say I have not created any options for myself as yet. Then there's him. Yes, as much as I know that he might be able to pull it off in the industry, I'm kinda of impatient as well, to wait and see it happen. But there's really no point doing that. It just won't go faster anyway. And Mom. Slightly pass a month and all the annoying mondays will be over. Both of us can finally heave a big sign of relief. It honestly hasn't been easy. I really am surprised at ourselves at how far we have stuck through this. I guess God has been so great to Mom. But then what's gonna happen after that? Don't know either. Then there's the religion issue. Oh man. I really don't wanna go into this. The roles are reversed. Mom's nagging me about it now. And all i can do is just avoid avoid avoid. I seriously don't feel like dealing with it. :\ Sometimes I really think I need to go see a shrink, or go for some anger management therapy. Hate it when I get peeved at the slightest things. It's so unlike-able and bitchy. Maybe I do need help. T.T
Ah. Okay. Gotta go try to get some shut-eye. 7am-4pm tml. Woohoo! Ah, but it's chemo day tml. bah. Looking forward to the weekend though. Not becos of World cup. I'm kind of past that already. :D

whoa. hardly have time to...or should i say hardly have enuff energy to come online for long. wahahahahahahahah~ so sleepy and tired. can't believe i've been working >1/2 year in that crappy place. time really flies. jeez. have gotten so used to all the idiots there. okay, not ALL of them are idiots. most of the seniors are anyway. =x hurhur. i tink the biggest retard ever would have to be everyone's public enemy #1. super tactless, totally lack PR & EQ skills and super inconsiderate and just PLAIN IRRITATING. oh well. anyway, it's rather tricky to stay neutral w everyone and not take sides. threading on thin ice here, arent we. oh well. i really have to get down to thinking about my move. urgh. can't believe how pressed for time i am. i never felt so old ever. T_T
mom's done w the first drug. now going thru the second. so far so good. guess she's pretty bored of staying at home while i'll be super grateful if i could stay home instead of work!!!

side note tho: i got trapped in my own room last monday. it was quite funny, really. i woke up and realised the door was close. i dun usually close my room door so i guess the wind probably slammed the door shut in the middle of the door. the funny thing was when i turned the knob, the door din open at all @_@ my mom couldnt open it from the outside either. bah. apparently the door mechanism was spoilt and got stuck. stupid door got shut. so little ol' me got trapped in my own room, which became almost like a prison cell. my mom had to pass me water and biscuit thru my window grill (thank goodness for the common corridor). so i had to ring up bubear early in the morning and tell him my door got stuck. he had to coach me on how to dismantle the doorknob and such. wah. took me quite awhile to dismantle. then when i FINALLY took down the whole thing, i still couldnt get out -.-" cos the stupid door was still stuck. in the end, lurfu had to come over to my place n shoulderbutt the door in order to rescue me! hahah my hero! :D

quick update.
still recovering from cold and throat infection. *sigh. wonder why am i so prone to....nvm, dun answer pls. ha~ anyway, recently caught 'how to train your dragon' w lurfu. it was surprisingly great! :) caught 'clash of the titans' today w ling, for FREEEEEEEE. haha! good stuff. Enjoyed the movie as well company! great saturday evening!
