Max and Amanda are Having a Baby

Everyone got to write their name on the girl or boy decoration before it was announced! As you can see, most thought it was a girl.

Even though Amanda is currently pointing at the girl side, it's actually a boy! The chosen name? Atlas! He should be making his debut in August!

Drew's Food

Drew has discovered that he loves mushrooms. That's right mushrooms. He likes to put a little oil and some onions in with them and then fry them up. He tries so hard to get the other kids to taste them, he's not had any luck in convincing anyone else that they're good, including Mom.
Another Drew favorite? Onions. On hamburgers, in onion rings, fried, it doesn't matter. He seems to have very mature taste buds for someone his age, or mine for that matter!

Bowling

My kids have never liked bowling. It doesn't move fast enough, they get bored. John was leaving to go on another trip for 10 days so we decided to go try bowling again and let the kids have some fun with Dad. They liked it better this time, however they were all itching to finish so they could go play on the arcade games! Aunt Carma, Uncle David, John and I all went up against each other. David creamed everyone. I didn't know that he was a bowler, but he proved we're all a bunch of amateurs! I'm pretty sure I came in last, which is nothing new!

End of Winter Fun

I found the garage stairs turned into a little hut. They children had been escaping through the downstairs to their little fortress. While I think it was too cold for such things, they apparently did not.

Jordan pulled himself up a little seat so he could look at all the flower options. He got to choose one, which made him so incredibly happy!

Furniture Redo

Out in the wood shop there was some old furniture. Dirty, old and really cool looking.

While watching the Olympics we got to work repainting the armoire. The kids had a lot of fun painting and 'helping'.

The finished product! John and I love having it in our room, it holds a lot of stuff!

Three drawers, one for each kid in school for their school work.
