Harvest Time= Lots of time in Lula

Harvest time is such an amazing time and always reminds me how amazing a farming life is. It is so much hard work, long hours, and all in God's hands! We are so blessed to farm as a family and be able to spend so much time in Lula. The kids really understand Charles being gone so much this year and missed him so much. Harvest time is complete now and it was a great year!!

Glory to God as he has provided once again.

Picnic on the farm

Amazed with the cotton!

Tailgaiting at the Lodge

We didn't quite make it to the Grove, so we just did some tailgaiting of our own! Much easier but I really wanted to make it to Oxford for a game, maybe next year.

1 Fish, 2 Fish, Blue Fish

Safe to say the kids had a great time celebrating William's 3rd birthday! Wendi planned such a cute party and it was the perfect day. Lots of playing in the yard, fishing, great food, butterflies, and bouncing! Thanks for a great time!

She loved the butterflies

Good gracious she was excited

Who says 3 can't ride?

Saying a little prayer

This was taken at Semmes Murphy while we were waiting on the doctor. We are in the middle of lots of follow up appointments and he was just saying a little prayer. Dr. Mullbougher checked him over during this appointment and decided we needed to have an mri done to get a better look at the spine. We have known that Bryant was born without a tailbone since he was only a few months old, but we had to wait to see if any problems would come out of it. The risk are problems with bladder and bowel, which we had to wait until potty training time. We have had some issues so the mri will help us to determine if it is a behavior issue or a result of tethered nerve endings. The mri showed us that he does have tethered nerve endings and that could be some of our problem. Surgery is a possible option down the road, but for now we are going to treat it as a behavior issue. This little guy is so amazing and has been through so much. God continues to challenge us and He always provides. I just have to remind myself that He is in control and it will all work out to His glory.
