EMMA

What a joy this child is in our lives! She is into everything these days and loves the bathroom. She gets into every single drawer, dumps out everything and puts in all in the bathtub (but at least I get to take a shower). All the toy buckets are always dumped out, anything out of the cabinets keeps her satisfied, and she loves to follow Lucy Kate and Bryant from room to room. When she enters the room she yells so you will know she has arrived and she is learning to hold her own! Of course Mickey and Minnie are here favorite and loves to watch it in the car. Still taking 2 naps a day and sleeps great at night, loves to eat anything you put in front of her and loves her milk! Still letting her drink it out of the bottle because she is the last baby and I really what is it going to hurt. Emma stays at home with Vernita the two days that I work and she loooooooves her so much, pretty sure she would trade me for Vernita. Makes you feel good your kids love someone else that much and that she feels the same about them.

A Successful Swimming Summer

We started the summer with two weeks of swim lessons with Julie. We started off crying and not wanting to get off the steps, after the two weeks they were jumping off the side, swimming to me off the steps and eventually jumping off the diving board. So thankful for Julie and look forward to more lessons next summer.

Thanks Mrs. Julie

Figured out he could stand in the shallow end and from then on he told us "I do it by myself"

Spa Time

I always look forward to the time I get to spend with Lauranne, Betsy, Andrea, and Heather. We try to go to Greenwood every year to hit up the spa, have a great dinner, and stay the night. We had so much fun and it was great to catch up. Had a little bit of drama at home while I was gone, the stomach bug hit. What a disaster when mom is gone but Kammy and Charles hung in there and took care of things. Thanks for a great weekend ladies, I needed all those laughs!

4th of July Fun

So I am just now getting around to the 4th of July post, but better late than never. We had a great 4th with our good friends Justin and Jennifer. All the kids came and we stayed on the lake all day and even stayed out for the fireworks. The kids were jumping off the boat, riding the jet ski, and tubing all over that lake. So much fun and they were worn out.

Too funny that Bryant had to be right in the middle of the guys checking out the motor

After a good swim

Our Little Sunshine turned 1

Finally I have a moment to blog and I have been wanting to share Emma's 1st birthday with you. It was so much fun to plan and went with a "Sunshine" theme, since she is our little sunshine! The invitations had her picture on them in the center of a sunshine and were yellows and oranges. Found great ideas online, ordered some things from etsy, planned a day of water fun, and a cookout with family after the birthday party! It was perfect and Emma was such a delight! Enjoy the pics! You can also check out pictures from the party on pictage.com
