Let the Fun Begin

First is sledding on the levee. They had the best time and Bryant was even going by himself.

Then we built a snowman

and finished it up with snow angels and a snowball fight.

We had such a great time playing in the snow. So thankful my kids are getting to experience it at home. Just something about snow that brings the kid out in all of us!

Our Delta Snow

Here comes the snow

Just toooo cute

Oh my goodness, 6 1/2 inches of snow!

Thank Goodness for the Exersaucer

You know its cold when..........

these two are sharing

These two are cuddled up together.

He was so proud of himself

Bryant comes running into the kitchen to show me what he had done. They were in the dress up boxes and he managed to put on of his sister's outfits on, but he did it perfectly! They have so much fun and when they actually get it on it never comes off.

Has to have the dancin tools, of course

RoadTrip

We took a very long road trip to Texas to visit my aunt Dale and uncle Sonny. The long trip is so worth it because they are so much fun! The kids have the best time and we were able to do so much this time. All the help with Lucy Kate and Bryant was so appreciated, maybe Emma will let someone else tend to her next time. She is still just a little to attached to me!

Fun afternoon at the park

Marley is just a big baby!

Bouncin' Bears was a huge hit! A building full of the bouncing things makes for very happy children.

A ride on the carousel

The Houston Children's Museum was great, but a little to busy for us. We went on New Year's Eve to join in on the celebration and there were so many people. Thanks to mom, dale and sonny for chasing the kids all over the place, Emma was not letting me take part in many activities besides holding her. The kids and adults were worn out, but it was great!

One More

One gift that I was so excited about we did not even get to on Christmas. I made dress up boxes for each of them! We opened them the day after Christmas and they were so excited. So much fun to see how they get the stuff on. Bryant came out one day with a construction vest on, a fireman's hat and a tutu!

The Birthday Party

Christmas was so much fun this year because it seemed as though the kids had a little better understanding of what it all really means. We talked about Jesus' birthday everyday and planned a party for him. Christmas day we made a cake and sang "happy birthday" Bryant and Lucy Kate were so excited and I want this to be a tradition that we continue. Jesus is so amazing and wonderful and for my children to know this is the ultimate gift!

Nothing for Santa or the reindeer

This is Bryant at 6:15 p.m. on Christmas Eve, he was so exhausted we did not have a chance to make cookies for Santa or put our food out for the reindeer. Oh well, he still came to see us!

Meanwhile we opened one gift each and enjoyed the peace and quiet.

Christmas Celebrations with Family

Christmas in Memphis with my mom's family. We have the best time visiting, eating, watching the kids open gifts and playing dirty santa. Such a great time of year to celebrate Jesus with the ones we love!

We always head to Lula on Christmas Eve to spend the day. Lunch at Pappy's house and of course opening gifts. The kids had so much fun and got so many cute things. Paige brought cupcakes and Lucy Kate was loving that! Bryant had to much with Uncle Allen drawing all over him, including a big "b" on his belly. Too funny and a pain scrubbing it off that evening. Next we headed over to Charles' dad's house and opened more gifts. We are so blessed to have most of our family so close to home.

Daddys Love

Toooooooooooo cute

Daddy Please Build a Fire

They love the fire and ask Charles everyday to build a fire. Bryant informs us over and over that the fire is hot! So glad he keeps us in check
