Happy Birthday Kade!!!!

Holy Hannah! Can our boy really be two years old already? I can't beleive how fast he is growing. He is now a little man! We had a blast of a birthday party! Check it out

Kade love's cars, and stared at this cake all day! He really wanted to take the cars off and drive them around. :) Good job on the cake honey! Not only is she hot, but she can decorate a cake too! ;)

VIDEO Kade blowing out his candles... he was so stinkin' cute!
We decided to get creative with our wrapping paper so we made streets and then put some of our favorite places in the blocks, and some other buildings that aren't our favorites but filled up some spaces. fun stuffings!

Kade loved oppening preasants! He got very excited and loved seeing what was in them.

Halloween, growing kids, and more!

Kade is loving hats lately. He finds every stocking cap he can find and wears them all the time! It makes us laugh a lot. He likes to put them right on the top of head too.

We had a lot of fun on Halloween. Natalie went as now and later. she had a clock on her front and a clock on her back. the one on the front was set correctly and the other was an hour ahead. pretty clever. I went as a hunter as did Kade, and Ethan was our little Polar Bear. Kade and I won "most likely to shoot something" at our ward party.

While Jeremy and I went hunting this last weekend, his girls hung out with our boys up here in Rexburg. They decided to make a video for Elder Johnson... AKA Jace. Kade loved the activity, but was a little slow! ;) Very cute video. So Jace... If you see this, We love ya!

It is interesting to see what happens to your son when he has hung out with three little girls for an entire weekend. I am trying to help him turn his dancing back to a manly fashion. He turns on the automatic play on the piano and then dances around. He will dance for hours. I will admit that during these videos, I was laughing so hard I thought I was going to pee!

Hunting Trip

Hey, Hey! Dad, Jer, and I went hunting this weekend. It was a ton of fun. It was so nice to be out there with the three of us like the good ol' days. I forget how much I love that. We had a blast and some success too. Guess what's for dinner!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween. We had a ton of fun carving pumpkins! Kade got really into it... really into it, and it all over him. He cleaned out the pumpkin, then dumped the stuff back in so he could do it all over again. This happened a few times. He was slime orange by the time we were done... then he took a bath! :) Ethan looked on, dreaming of warm milk.

Are they drums or pumpkins?

Yummy!

Ethan was a very enthusiastic participant!

New Baby!!!

Welcome to our web page!

We had a new edition to our family this month! Ethan Casey Johnson was born October 3rd, 2007 at 2:31 am. He was 9 lbs. 3 oz. (the exact weight Kade was!) and 21 1/4 inches long. He's absolutely ADORABLE! Ethan is a very quiet and happy baby. His newborn cry is so precious. He's started to have gas smiles that make your heart melt! I can't wait until he smiles on his own. Like Kade, Ethan is very alert and is constantly studying his surroundings with his big blue/brown eyes.

Being the parents of two has been an easier transition than we expected. ~We still get tired but I suppose that won't change for 20 years or so. =) We've learned to value Kade's nap time and have designated that as our nap time, too. Despite the long days, we love having our two little boys and we look forward to all of the fun adventures they'll share as they grow older.

Kade has LOVED being a big brother! He has not stopped giving Ethan soft kisses and long hugs. Seriously, sometimes we have to watch them together so Kade doesn't smother his brother. =)every morning when Kade wakes up, he runs to our room to check on Ethan in his cradle. He always comes to Ethan's aid when he cries and has been a huge help with getting diapers, wipes, and the binki. It's been a learning experience for us to know how to encourage Kade's help while teaching him when and how to care for Ethan. His intentions are always good.... Kade's still his little adventurous self, though, and is often found driving his toy cars, playing at the piano, or simply getting into things. Kade now has a few new words to add to "dada" and "hi/bye". He can now say "car" and "hot" and makes loads of sound effects (does this remind you of anyone??? Casey was the sound effect King growing up) for his cars and animals. My Grandma and Grandpa Jones gave Kade a bunch of fun little farm animals and that has launched his new interest in their noises. It's fun to teach him their sounds and hear his interpretations of them. He's especially keen on barking, quacking, and mooing. =) He'll be turning two in December. I can't believe how fast he's growing up!

Here are some fun videos of our family.
