Thanksgiving.

So Thanksgiving came and went. It was a busy time I had many thoughts during the month. Many about how grateful I am for the many friends and little friends I have. That I was able to live in Indiana for 20+years and how many great experiences I was able to have and to share, The personal growth that I was able to achieve. Knowing that I have great friends all over. That I through the great gift of the gospel have many surrogate children. Great times throughout with family. How grateful I am to be working. Although I really do miss doing the flowers. My job isn't that bad. As I get older and OLDER. It is getting easier to be more grateful for the many little things in life. Health, family, happiness, friends, the gospel, employment and many others. I hope that you all have had a great holiday season.

Happy Birthday Karen!! we are 29 again.

On Friday Night John and I went with his Mom and dad and sister Dianne and brother in-law John to Jappanese restuarant Called tappa (something.) in Jordan Landing. It was kind of entertaing they seat you in tables of 8 and then they cook and serve your food at the table. thank goodness nobody had a camera that night. (I really hate having my picture taken I think I get that from my Grandma). So on Saturday I went to My nephew Andrew's Flag football game and watched him score a touchdown, throw an extra point pass and do an awesome kick off. He Will surely take after his uncle Sean or as Mike put it be more than just a pansy kicker and take after his Dad. I had forgotten that Mike was a kicker also. Probably because I was in Indiana at the time. S9 Here are all the cousins and spouses

Conference Weekend

So inbetween sessions of conference John and His sister Dianne and Her Husband John (yes 2 Johns can get a little Confusing).
Went up little cottonwood Canyon. Look at what they found.

Fall mixed with winter How beautiful.

I love fall and Hate to see it go away there are so many beautiful colors.

Elk Surprise

So those of you who know John know that we very rarely take the interstate anywhere. He likes to explore and so we take country roads and side roads and whatever roads to get somewhere. He was playing Chauffer to my Grandma and Grandpa for Camryns birthday party and this is what they stumbled accross. at 3200 w and about 104th south.

Bison

Elk

These elk are fighting

So the moral of this story is sometimes if you go off the beaten path you can have some great sightseeing opportunities,
John says it is more fun to play chauffer to people sitting in the front seat than in the back of an ambulance.
We actually took these pictures about a week later with His mom and dad. .
