Catch Up: November

We had pie-themed linger longer in the single's ward and the pumpkin can makes two fillings... so John and Josh had a second pie for dinner.

And we used the extra crust for little cookies.

There weren't any pictures of me, but John took this video without my knowledge whilst I was making the crust. We played a ridiculous push-up game one night that left us both realllly sore.

Despite tired arms, the house work had to continue, so we got some insulation the next day. We borrowed our friend Kelly's truck so it only took three loads to get it all home.

It barely fit in the house.

John worked long and hard to get the attic insulated. He recommends hiring out.

Then he put in a new disposal! And it's barely louder than running water.

Foood

It's been another relatively unproductive week. We did, however, do a lot of eating. I started the week off with brownies for my Relief Society lesson and banana bread for game night, and John made some haystacks for dinner with my mom and sister. We didn't take pictures of dinner, but my sister took some of us on the couch afterward.

I think it looks like he's trying to suck my brain out.

Monday we went ice skating for fhe

And I made chicken pot pie. If there was any doubt of John's love for me, it was dispelled by this meal.

(It was really hot...and John's not extremely patient when it comes to food)

Tuesday John made fried rice, my favorite.

And green beans, of course.

He doesn't mess around when it comes to leftovers.

Unfortunately, we eat a lot and the rice was gone by Thursday. So John made tacos.

We're still going strong on those :)

Another Weekend

I feel it's only fair to update John's family whenever I see mine, and my mom's coming over today so I thought I'd write about what we've been up to.

We got a new rug to help cover/protect the wood floor.

We took the wood paneling off of the walls in the blue room. You never know what surprises are waiting for you. Turns out it's a blue/orange/teal room.

Safeway was selling cereal for $1.50/box, so we loaded up. We're set for the winter.

John spent some more time on the fireplace drywall while I was at work.

I just asked John if we did anything fun this weekend that I could write about and he said, "we went to Target..." Sorry there's nothing more exciting to report.
