Had our FYP meeting at NLB again
Had our breakfast at almost 12pm at Pastamania
then went on to check on articles which is related to BIOMETRICS

I seriously dun like this topic
but no choice....
To graduate frm RP, I need to do it
I tink if I have a choice, I'd rather do attachment

Aftr a quiet meeting at NLB, we went to EAT again ard 3-4pm pluz

Ytd not workin
Went for K-Lunch at Hougang Plaza
Erm.. the room was not so big and their sofa was not in good condition ler
But still acceptable lar
haha:)

Anw, why had the urge of going Kbox is due to my previous nite at Chinatown
We walked pass Chinatown area where the 24 hr Mcdonald located
and we saw there's Kbox staff standing at there, tried to get customers to patronize them

We walked near them and got the brochure from them
Aftr dat, the staff offered us with the charge of 2 hrz and free 1 hr with total of S$50++
Then we said it's a bit expensive and we wouldn't sing for so long
so she offered another package which was 1 for 1
so she would just charge for 1 person

But then I didn't really like with the package
so lastly, she offered me with another package
That was I jus need to order for 1 jug of drinks and we would get to sing few hours
OMG..

This is my first time doing bargaining with KBox staff
haha:)
Nvr expect that this would also happen for a non retail store
haha:)

Anw, aftr my K-Lunch
went to meet my dear bitches for dinner
Love them so so much...

Met at Lao Pa Sat for dinner
Iwan brought a gift my godsis from Tanjungpinang as my bday gift

They ordered fried baby squid, mee goreng, sambal kangkong, stingray, satay and dessert

BirthdayS in a Row

30th August 2008 - James' Birthday

Hope he likes the birthday gift and oso had a memorable birthday experience

We had our dinner at Bugis Swensens
I like their black pepper seafood spaghetti
It's nice, can fight with tcc's seafood aglio olio

31st August 2008 - Cai Fang's 21st Birthday

She had her birthday party at Aranda Country Club
The room is much much nicer than those chalets lor
Has good facilities & good environment

She invited quite a lot of people
and even when we wanted to take picts
we had to queue up based on who we are to her
haha:)

So, here we are tcc colleagues pluz frens

She and her bf who loves her so much...
hehe:)

Before her birthday, we had a long chat over what to do during birthdays
coz we are same having our 21st birthday on this year
and finally she had her celebration at country club which had buffet pluz BBQ
but I'm still not sure for mine
Let's see how ba

1st September 2008 - Darren's Birthday

We bought a sweater for him and oso re-used the expiry cake to sing birthday song during his shift

haha:)

But I tink he put aside and didnt dare to eat

Nvm, it's the thought that count

fter all these birthdays, I'm seriously BROKE

Almost spent my 2 weeks pay for these 3 days

Yes, these are the bus tickets that we purchase for these few days

The procedure is like this ---------

U board the bus and tell the bus driver where you want to go
If they pass by there then they'll say OK
then you just pay money and he'll give it to you the bus ticket

A bit troublesome but this is their system
The process will be slower unlike we just tap the ezlink card
haha:)

This is the bus stop, ppl...
They dun need a shelter or what to be a bus stop

They just need a sigboard to indicate that there's a bus stop there

haha:)

This is called Loh Bak

But it's called Ngoh Hiam in Singapore

They oso hev most of the same things like fried tofu, fried Ngoh Hiam, fried prawn, etc

During these few days, we visited Prangin Mall and KOMTAR as mentioned in the previous entry. Apart from it, we oso went to Queensbay Mall which I think is SUPER SUPER BIG. I think it should be bigger than Vivo City ba. Then we oso went to Gurney Plaza

More or less, that's about the Penang trip

After that, we went to temples as Penang is quite well known for their temples

First stop, Goddess of Mercy temple

Next stop, will be the biggest temple at Penang
Kek Lok Si Temple

But the pagoda is under renovation so we cudnt really go up to take a look

This is kind of railway or "escalator way"
We took the escalator up to see the big statue of the Kwan Yim

It's oso under construction
They want to build a shelter over it

Exploring @ nite...

Aftr had a great meal at New World Park, we went back to hotel to hev a shower and a short break coz we were going to explore the night life at there

Since we were at town area, we thought of exploring their Esplanade
Yes, they oso hev a place called Esplanade
and it's oso by the sea
But it's their governmental building

Walked for quite long and we were somewhere near the Esplanade ler
But was too tired of walking and I was a bit hungry ler so we stopped at here watching at this building

This is oso a government building which I'm not vry sure what is the function
But it's just very outstanding during night time.

Then ard that place, we found this food court by the sea

so we sit down and had our supper

haha:)

Had a tomyam noodle, satay, and oso stingray

Yum Yum...

By the way, on the way to Esplanade there

I noticed they hev a cinema specially catered for Indian

Cool man!!!

Ok, here I am

Let me update from 21st August - 24 August 2008

Let the photo says the story ba

In the coach, nth to do so testing on the camera

The journey was from 9pm until 7am in the next morning

Once we reached, we went to look for hotel and FOOD....

For the next few entries, u'll be able to see a lot of food picts which we had for 3 days.

Anw, this is our very first meal at Penang

As we found our hotel and settled down

we went to walk ard to look for food

and we saw this coffee shop which serve dim sum

and here we are, having dimsum as our breakfast

Aftr dat, It's our time to explore...

and here is the town area of Penang

It's near Chulia Street

The 1st mall that we went in Penang

It's Prangin Mall

Nth much at there, bought our coach ticket to Singapore at here

I think this is the tallest building at Penang

It's called KOMTAR

it's also a shopping mall but under renovation so nth much to see also

Aftr the mall exploration, we intended to look for some of the food places recommended by Chnl 8 program which was hosted by Chen Li Ping and Xu Mei Chen

and we found dis place

New World Park

(It's a food court cum retail shops and had a lot of nice food)
