Festive Friday...

Festive Friday :)
Whoop Whoop Whoop
I am so far behind in coming forwards with my festive makes its unreal!

Today I have an accordion card to share using some of the gorgeous Elfs and Fairies Perfect Partners from Sheena Douglass
OH MY GOSH
I have said it before but I'll say it again
I love these!!!!!!!!!!!

I cut my accordion blanks and embossed them using one of the Nordic Christmas folders from Crafter's Companion, the centre I cut away on one and used some twine to attach my fairy - do excuse the blob of glue on the back of her wings which I cut using acetate. I used a little gliding wax over the embossed panels and added some kraft card to the edges. The ivy is also from Sheena's Range and this is one of my fave dies ever! I cut it on white card and then covered it with distress ink, then I stamped onto it using the perfect partner stamp and then coated it with a layer of Mod Podge love it - I shaped them using a ball tool.

I coloured all images with Aquamarkers and had a blast!
I cut another panel out and removed the middle and the edges so I could cover over the back to hide the twine ends.
How cheeky does he look! I just think these are such fun :)

Aquamarkers Used
Skin - Blossom, Peach, topaz, desert
Hair - Sepia, Chocolate, Terracotta
scarlet, burgundy, moss, bud green, gold, marigold

You can check out all things Sheena over in the Crafter's Companion Shop

A little bit Festive...

With a very modern twist :)

Happy Saturday Guys - Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

Today I have a Sheena Card to share with you - I made this one for one of the recent Germany Shows - I absolutely ADORE this collection from Sheena Douglass

So as I'm typing this I realised I havent shared any photos with you all from the recent Crafter's Companion 10th Birthday Event - ACK - I need to change that and share some don't I?!
Sooooooooooooooooooo
Along with so many other fabulous ladies :)
Look who I met!
(Apologies Sheena, I had had a few whoooops :() )
How tickled pink was I?!

I got to meet so many fabulous ladies - My BEAUTIFUL Crafter's Companion teamies, the TALENTED Inkoids and the AMAZING team of Sara Davies, Leann Chivers and Fiona Clayton - it was a night I will never forget! EVER :)

Partly because I won an award too!!!!!!!!!
I know - I was stunned to stunned!

I am not used to winning anything for something I have done - or feeling proud for myself - its usually always the kids I'm proud of - so the feeling was quite alien to me - but so amazing when I sat down to pinch myself! Needless to say this will take PRIDE OF PLACE in my craft area :)
Thankyou so much Crafter's Companion :)
Selfie hahahaha
Design Team Member of the Year
Chuffed!!!!!!! (doesn't cover it)
Many Congrats to everyone who won awards that night - so well deserved :)

I'll remember to share a few more over the next few days/month looooooooooool

On to my card
I used the amazing pefect partners festive collection - the Holly is amazing!

I cut it using the die and then covered it in a mix of silver and renaissance gold gliding wax. I turned them over and used a ball tool to shape them, then mounted them with 3d glue gel onto another holly. The folder is from the Vintage Christmas range from Crafter's Companion, I embossed it on coredinations and then covered it with gliding wax. The aqua card is also coredinations and my card base Sheenas white stampin card (cannot get enough of that stuff) embellies are from my stash.

Thanks for popping by
Have a wonderful day
Until next time

I embossed my folders on red card - I used Nordic Christmas- Christmas time and Textures - Distress folders. I then coated them with some white ink, black ink and renaissance gold gliding wax. I matted them on black card, my base is Centura Pearl. The smaller panel I mounted using 3d glue gel :)
The ivy I cut and coloured with distress inks - forest moss, crushed olive, evergreen bough and aged maghogny, I then coated them in mod podge. I used a ball tool on the back to give them some shape, I stuck them using 3d glue gel too :)

Holidays are Coming...

HAPPY SATURDAY
WHY
Cos its LAY-IN day :)
boy do I need a lay in, I have to get up an extra hour and half earlier with Niall to prepare him for his day and get all of his belongings ready and sorted before his taxi arrives , and its taking its toll on both of us until we get used to it! I intend to be sleeping for a long time lol - this post is scheduled obviously hahahahahahahahaha
and then when I wake Mr Stelling is on Sky Sports with the footie :)
and theres more.....
I have a whole brand new tub of Heroes to scoff tonight in front of the X Factor
Could it get any better?!
(well yes it could - when Stictly returns ha)

Anywhoo...
Todays card is a little different from my usual style and do you know what I absolutely LOVED it
I didnt like messy fingers for a week after though :(
But - I'd do it all over again lol
This card uses some of the wonderful products from Sheena Douglass combined with Crafter's Companion products :) a match made in heaven :)
You can find everything Sheena and everything Crafter's Companion HERE
I used Sheenas stampin' card and cut the IVY Die, then I covered it with distress inks - one of my fave combos at the moment is Shaded Llac, Worn Lipstick and Evergreen Bough. I then used the IVY Stamp with the Evergreen ink and stamped my leaves, I turned them over onto a foam pad and used a ball tool to add some depth to them, turned them back and added a little gliding wax. I used 3d glue gel to mount to my card and decoupaged some of the leaves up. The embossing folder is from the Nordic Christmas range which I used on black card with white ink, silver gliding wax and some frosted ice snowy stuff - I need more but don't know what its called???
DO YOU KNOW?? pllllllllllllease
and then I splated some texture white Irresistable stuff, and literally did splat it as my spray part is blocked - UMPH
I hope you like it :)
