Satisfaction Guaranteed...Buyer Beware!

Everyone knows we have a giant squirrel problem at the house. They are all over the place, chirping, and reproducing, and now eating everything we plant. Most of the time the squirrels have kept their distance and stayed in the trees. But just recently we discovered a giant hole in the lawn and now we have a ground squirrel which I am sure has been populating the planet with more (insert your own word here) squirrels.

As a humane person I planned to do the right thing. I wanted to go right to poison but instead, I went to Home Depot and bought a vibrating green thing, which is supposed to annoy the squirrels so they want to leave. I thought this is it squirrel...try this! I thought it worked until about a week later I walked by our window and what do I see? The squirrel is sitting on top of the vibrating, high-pitched green thing....eating a nut! If squirrels had middle fingers I think this squirrel would have been giving me the bird, saying, "Screw off Joe!" Grandma's 90th

Many of you know that we take care of Alex's grandma. She is the character and our lives would be totally different if we didn't live with her. I think sometimes it is not right for us and other times we have the best time of our lives. It is funny to mention that she is 90, still drives, still works, and stills socializes like the best of them. She also loves to shop and party, that is the reason we are going to San Francisco later this week.

Her actual birthday will be while we are gone. But there was a large party held earlier in the month for Grandma. Taking her dress shopping, matching jewelry, and getting her to the party on time was our responsibility. Which we took very seriously--the reason she looks so good. It was fun to see her with all of these people who she has known over her life. We hope that we will only make it as long as she does and in such great health.
