July 30, 2011: Happy Birthday to the most incredible man in my life! You have been my friend for 7 years and I am so blessed to have you as my eternal companion. You are the kindest person I know, and the world is a better place with you in it...thank heavens for your birthday!!
Love your Wifey and BFF!
I can't believe it is August! Our summer is going by too fast and as it is probably our last "real summer" for the next several years, it is very sad to see it coming to an end. John will be taking classes for the next 4 summers, so we have tried to live it up:
* Hiking once a week
* Pool days
*Walk a the park everyday
* Family visits
* Trip to Zions
* Fireworks on the 4th
* Parade on the 24th
* Visit to Park City
* Family Bike ride
* BBQ's
Basically having every evening together as a family instead of me being at the studio and John in class is incredibly priceless! I am so grateful for my boys and the joy they bring into my life.
Here is the latest with each of us.
--I had recitals in May and June and quickly started into summer classes right after that and have been teaching almost everyday this summer. All my girls did amazing in all of their competitions, never receiving anything lower than 2nd place!! They rock my world. I am now getting ready to start choreography for companies next week for the next season...not much of a break I know!! But I am very grateful I get to take my little Monster B with me to the studio everyday so I can still work and be mommy...I have the best job ever!!!
--John finished his semester in May and received good grades. He is such an amazing worker as he holds a full time job, goes to school full time, and takes care of B for a couple hours by himself. He has received 2 promotions at his work within the last little bit. He is the facilities manager, and the head aid. With these 2 titles he basically runs everything, except of course the therapists themselves! So proud of him. He is starting school in the next couple weeks, and will be pushing through all of his classes until he finishes DPT school.
--Brixon is a crazy little stinker. He really livens up the house! He is now trying to become mobile, even though I don't think he will be a crawler. All he wants to do is eat anything EXCEPT baby food. That is not an option. He wants to chew, so he wants mom and dads lasagna and sandwich and vegetables and ice cream etc. This is fine with me and he seems to LOVE everything. He also loves his puppy, he just tugs and tugs on her fur, but she doesn't seem to mind one bit. Right now we are dealing with teething. He already has 4 teeth, and those seemed to be piece of cake. But now he has 4 on top that are trying to push through all at once...poor kid is a water faucet and uncomfortable. Hopefull they will make their way through soon. Something funny is that we have a video monitor and Brixon is an amazing sleeper. He has slept throught the night since he was 2 months old. He now sleeps 11 to 12 hours straight (oh my word it is pure heaven!!) but he is a wild sleeper. We can flip on the video every once and a whild and he will be in a completely different position, totally rotated-upside down-out of the screens view- bum straight up in the air...you name it!! Boy do I love my stinker:)
