Our little Lovebug!

I wanted to share with you how cute my little baby is. I know that she's 4 1/2 but she's still my little baby for a few more weeks. Her personality is very unpredictable most days but in the morning when it's just her and I, I can plan on a very pleasant, easy going little girl. She loves to help me clean up the house and she's almost more particular than me. Everything has to be in it's place and organized. She likes to read books and so lately we've done lots of that. We both snuggle up on the La-z-boy and read a handful of library books. We get lots of reading in with me on bed rest. She can entertain herself so good. The other day I caught her listening to a cd and just chillin'. She was so adorable I just had to get a picture of her. She makes me smile when I look at her and you just can't help but want to hug her. Even on her emotional days! She's kina cute if you ask me!

A Girl's kind of party

Madison had her birthday party Monday morning. We had 5 girls come over for breakfast in their pj's and we celebrated Princess style. All the girls got to decorate their own crown. Then they got to have their nails painted and even got sparkly stickers on their nails. They all got to fashion some glasses to go with their crowns. Then they all attended a ball (if you could call all those girls trying to dance and do the freeze dance a ball). They all loved it. Madison just loved that fact that it had to do with a princess and that friends were over. The only thing that she could tell you that she got was a Hannah Montana shirt and necklace. Justin got to take the morning off to help out with the party. He cooked the pancakes (with chocolate chips and m&m's) and even helped put stickers on the nails! He was such a good sport. He didn't have much choice. Poor guy even had to do all of the shopping for the party and got Madison all of her b-day gifts. I think Madison didn't mind at all. She kinda got spoiled doing all the shopping with dad. Mom wouldn't have been so nice!
So, this is our first attempt at this blogging thing! I figured since I'm on bedrest for a few weeks that I'd be able to use this to pass the time. I hope at least! I'm sure that it will take me a little bit to get used to all of this. I'll probably give some of you a call and get suggestions on all this.
