Hey everyone, just jumping in quickly to show two more layouts that I made with Citrus Twist Kits' June kit. Then I will go back into the sun, yes, the weather is so lovely today, and it is a day off here in Germany. Amazing! Can't wait for the barbecue tonight! :)
This is a layout about my husband and I. We are together since 2000, and we went through good times, but also through bad times. But we did it together, and I suppose that's why our relationship is still working. :)
I created this layout by using mainly the Main kit 'Sweet Thing', only the turquoise strip of patterned paper is from the Pattern Paper Play 1 add-on and the big black alpha under the white cardstock is from the Embellishment kit.
I love the simplicity of this layout and the colors are so gorgeous and bright.
The second layout is made with the Main kit only. The photo was taken through our vacation in Spain two years ago (can't believe it's already two years!), and everytime I look at it I think of beach, summer, sun and fun ...
With this layout I again wanted to step away from the white cardstock background. I love that black and white striped paper, though it was quite challenging to print the journaling. But in the end it luckily worked out just the way I imagined it.
That's it for today. I am jumping back into the sun, and I hope that you also can enjoy good weather today, wherever you may be.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day! :)

Citrus Twist Kits | June 2015 | Part 1
It is time to show two of the layouts I made this month for Citrus Twist Kits. To be honest - that kit is beautiful. And there's so much stuff in it, that's really unbelievable ...
But enough of that, here is the first layout. I didn't use a ton of papers and/or embellishments here, but the ones I used are from all the kits, a bit of every kit in here.
The design is quite simple and I planned it in my graphic programm, because I wanted to create the title there. It was easy and quick to create the title and add the journaling and then I went on to die cut the circles, adhere them, add the photos and some stitching. The little triangles are drawn with a fine tip black marker.
Here are some close-ups:
Sometimes I so enjoy to scrap clean, it is fun!
The next layout, I challenged myself to use the colored cardstock that came with the add-on kit. I tend to use a lot of white cardstock and the colored cardstock is left unnoticed. That's a shame, I really need to change that.
This layout is quite simple and clean too, though it took me a while, because of the colored cardstock. But the result is a layout that I really do like, so that's ok. I also used paper and embellishments from all the kits this month, a bit here and there. So fun!
That's it for today, I will show you the other layouts I made with this month's kit soon.
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and have a great week! :)

Magic and a little peak
Hey everyone, just jumping in quickly to show you a layout I created today.
This week I stumpled upon some photos that I made in Disneyland Paris in 2005 and I immediately thought of a digital stamp at Studio Calico that you could buy with the Sandlot kit some months ago.
I used the stamp as a cut file for my Silhouette and I am so in love with the outcome. Here it is:
This is a hybrid layout. I did use some digital paper by Studio Calico as background and kind of paper pieced the castle, added some embellishments ... and done. :)
Here are some close ups:
I really love that it looks different from other layouts that I made. I have to do this much more often!
Aaaaand - I also wanted to give you a tiny little peak at the upcoming June kit over at Citrus Twist Kits. It's summer, it's colorful, wonderfully balanced and there is so much stuff in it, incredible. You really get something for your money.

Citrus Twist Kits | May 2015 Layouts
Hey everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! :)
Today I'd love to show you the rest of the layouts that I created with this month's Citrus Twist Kits' Main and Sprinkles kit! I already showed one a bit ago and here are the others. I loved working with this kit, it is so versatile, fun and packed with tons of beautiful items.
The next layout is another one about our yearly trip to London in Januare. My son wanted to have a photo taken with him in
a phone booth, for his profile pic on a phone app. He is growing up so fast, unbelievable. :)
I love all the patterned paper and washi strips that came with this kit and used them to emphasize the cut out title of the layout.
This one is a 6x8 layout. I try to create at least one layout in this smaller size per month to fill up the 6x8 album. And it is really fun and sometimes challenging to scrap on a smaller scale.
I immediately fell in love with the cut out wooden embellishments that came with the kit and wanted to use them so badly. I finally found a place for the first one on this layout where I used a patterned paper that is so colorful that I normally wouldn't know how to use it. But I thought of this photo and the title 'Live a colorful life' and it fit perfectly.
I wanted to create another layout with the second cut out wooden embellishment and came up with this one.
I am so in in love with the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon for more than 15 years now and I am so excited that it finally made it on the tv screens. :)
I also used some paper and embellishments from some older Citrus Twist kits here, because they fit perfectly.
And last but not least a layout about my cute, adorable and sweet baby sister. If you want to know how it came together, I do have a photo walkthrough on the Citrus Twist Kits blog today. :)
Thanks so much for taking the time to stop by and have a wonderful week, hopefully not to stressful! :)

My husband, my son and his best friend on a road trip to see their favorite soccer team in Munich. They always send me photos when I am not with them, I so love it!

Dark Side
Hey everyone, I just want to jump in and show you a layout that I finished yesterday night and that means a lot to me ...
Sometimes I have a hard time accepting that I can't be all sunshine 24/7 and that everyone has a dark side next to the good sides. Including me. But I think if you can accept your dark side, then you start to become a whole!
I know, that's quite a creepy photo, haha, but I thought it fit the theme perfectly. I cut some stripes from a second photo, that I blurred in my graphic program and slipped them through slots that I cut on the original photo. I love the way it looks and that it shows blurred parts that belong to the photo. You know what I mean? :)
Here are some more close ups:
The color choice is also made because of dark and good, bright sides.
That's it for today, I'll be back soon with a ton of layouts, that I would love to show you. Thanks for taking the time to come by and have a great Tuesday! :)

Citrus Twist Kits | May 2015 Reveal
I haven't posted anything for quite some time, have I? So sorry for that, but life got in the way - again. But enough of that - today it's about the May reveal of this month's kit at Citrus Twist kits. I have to say ... wow ... this kit really blew my mind. I am working with the Scrapbook main kit since this month now and it is so absolutely gorgeous with its beautiful colors. I also got to work with this months Sprinkles kit and it is amazing too. A lot of great embellishments in gold, white and pops of colors here and there - so great. :)
For today I'd love to show you the first layout I made with this months kit(s), it is mainly stuff from the Sprinkles kit that immediately cought my attention. Especially the washi tape strips and gold stickers, they are so beautiful.
I decided to scrap about me and myself again, I kind of needed it for therapeutical purposes, haha.
The washi tape strips and word stickers look great together, don't you think?
And a close look, of course:
If you want to see more of the kits in action, please also have a look at the CT gallery over at Citrus Twist Kits, the DT did an amazing job again.
That's it for today, I will be back in the next couple days to share some more. Thanks for stopping by and have a great (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day. :)
