We went to see the Cardiologist yesterday and she told us that everything looked great! Jac is healing perfectly and she took him off his oxygen and one of his medications! she said that by June he should be completly off all meds, so that will be great.
I am excited to go back to church with him. We will also be able to let him play with his cousins(As long as nobody has been sick recently).

Monkey Feet
He grabs everything with his feet.

Didn't get much playing in...

Daddy and Jac playin' a little air hockey.

Jer was trying to get him to go on his hands and knees... Jac wanted to fly!

I love this face. He has some of the best expressions.

Wahoo! Jac has gained 13 ounces since his surgery. He is now 15.5 pounds. I was so excited today when we took him into to get his Synagis shot (which turned into a flu shot too).
I just wanted to share that little bit of info. Tomorrow Jac turns 8 months! I can't beilieve that. I will take some pictures and post them. Love you all!

Home Sweet Home

So we are home now! Yay! Things have been going great. Jac loves being home and is doing so good. He hates his oxygen tube, but I would too. Having something taped to my face and up my nose doesn't sound to pleasant. We try to keep little socks on his hands and that seems to work most of the time.
He amazes me. He is already rolling around, sitting up and is just as feisty as he has ever been. I can't wait for two weeks when he won't have any oxygen tubes or bandages and we can go back to church and he can play with his cousins and move on with life.

Again, I can't thank you enough for all your thoughts and prayers. I truly think it is a miracle that he has recovered so well and so fast. I will continue to give updates of his progress and other exciting stuff that goes on. Thanks again!

This is the wagon that Aunt Tara, Uncle Eric, Eden and Isis gave Jac. We went on a walk around the block today and he loved it!

Cousin Eden made this sign all by herself.

Leaving the hospital only two and a half days after surgery!!!

Saturday

We just found out that Jac will be dischaged today!!! He had some x-rays this morning and about 6 doctors came in and told us that he is doing great and the only reason he would stay here would be to give him oxygen. So they decided that they'll just send us home and give us the pain killers and oxygen that he needs. We are so excited! It is a lot earlier than we thought we would be able to come home. We had pretty much set our minds to coming home on monday or tuesday, so this was all a shock to us.

Thank you everyone for your care and support over the last few days! We love all of you!

Allison, one of our fabulous nurses.

Jess, our tech is great at baths!

Jess and I go way back. Me (Lacie) and Jess were members of the 29th ward way back when. What a small world! She and Allison were great, they spoiled us a little.

Today was a good day. The Doctor removed Jac's chest tube and Pacer wires. He went on a wagon ride and has been awake most of the day. He threw up his Lortab, but I don't blame him, it's gross tasting.
Jac has been such a sweetheart through everything. He cries a little, but is easily calmed by impromptu performences of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star".
