First Trip to Splash

Finally....it feels like summer.  We made our first two trips to Splash Montana this weekend.  We went on Sunday with Daddy and again on Monday with the Finks and my nieces Jordan and Madison.  So nice to get out and enjoy the sunshine....we hope to be at the pool lots this summer.

 Sydney is loving the water.  She is very much like her sister....no fear what so ever.  She loves to hold on the edge in the deep end and let go...sinking to the bottom.

Hailey is getting pretty good in the water.  She can swim about 8 feet on her own.  She loves to swim under the rope and is pretty proud of herself.  You can find her diving around, not sitting still for a minute.

First Trip to the Splash Pad

I think we might have hit 80 degrees the other day, so we were off to the Splash Pad.  We are lucky to have one just down the hill from us and we now have to drive by it everyday because of the construction on Miller Creek.  Therefor, it gives Hailey the opportunity to ask everyday if we can go to "that park."

Of course, before we can do anything we have to have a snack, and then more snacks, and then dig through Aunt Jen's bag to find more.

Now the playing can begin.  Where to start- water or sand.  Like always, we end up going back and forth and becoming a huge mess with sand in places I won't name.

Summer Fun

We are starting to have "some" summer.  Well actually it is pretty rainy, but we've had a few nice days here and there.  When the sun is shinning, the girls love to play outside: riding bikes, playing on the new play set, bouncing balls, or rolling somersaults.  Here are a few shots of our summer fun so far!

 We are so proud of Hailey.  She is cruising on her bike now.  She can control her speed, make corners, go off and on the curb, and stop.  She still falls at times, but that is getting less and less.  The only thing she is still struggling with is starting herself.

 And then the rain came....so much for the nice weather.  Oh well, it will be July before we know it and we'll be wishing it was cooler.

Downtown Outing

This past Sunday the streets downtown were closed....allowing us to do some playing in the streets.  Hailey thought it was pretty cool being able to ride bikes, walk, and play right in front of Daddy's office.
