Update.

I know I am way behind! But, sleep just seems more tempting than blogging. I will sacrifice today.

I know I am going to forget a bunch of really great details of what we have been up to, but you'll get the big picture.

Let's see...I'll start in May. Avery and I drove up to Lindon, UT to visit Josh's family. All my trips are starting to blend together, but I'm pretty sure that trip was mostly rainy and cloudy and cold. It was still fun though. We took Avery to Chuck E. Cheese's and she had a blast! Most of the trip she was attached to me, but not here. She ran everywhere and wanted to ride everything. Grandma Andrea and Aunt Amy chased after her and helped her play with everything. While I was up there I got to go to my cousin Erin's bridal shower and wedding. I also went to dinner with some of my really great friends--its always fun to see them while I'm back around Provo. Instead of driving all the way home we stopped in Blanding, UT for another shower for another cousin who got married. After about three weeks of being in Utah Avery and I decided it was time to head home and be with Josh.

A couple weeks later we drove back up to Blanding for my cousin Davy's wedding. This time I didn't have to drive the whole way by myself so that made it much better. We came home a couple days later.

Another couple weeks later Avery and I were on the road again. This time back to Lindon. We drove up on the 2nd of July and made it in time to see the fireworks! I wasn't sure how Avery was going to react to the fireworks but she LOVED them! Seriously, I have never seen her so amazed by something. It was so cute to watch her point at all the fireworks in the sky. Josh flew up on the 5th (his birthday). Well, I guess it was technically the 6th. He was supposed to get in late on the 5th but his flight kept getting delayed because of the huge dust storm in Phoenix. We celebrated Josh's birthday and showered him with gifts. He got a new set of golf clubs. We had so much fun while we were up there. We went swimming, boating, watched millions of fireworks, ate delicious watermelon, played tons of games, and the list goes on! Josh and I even had a little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We went to Lagoon and then drove to Park City for the night. We had SO much fun in Park City just browsing around and relaxing. Unfortunately, Josh had to get back to work so we had to come home.

The next day Avery and I drove to San Diego with my mom to meet up with my dad and my sister Kirsten's family. We had a lot of fun touring around San Diego. We went to the beach, ate some great seafood, went swimming, rode the trolley thingy my dad has been redesigning for the past few months, went to Scripps Aquarium, and tried a new cupcake place. After a few great days we drove back home.

The following week my mom said she would watch Avery so Josh and I could have another little getaway. We decided to save some money we would just have a staycation. We went to dinner and the diamondbacks game and stayed in a hotel downtown. It was tons of fun. Thanks mom!

So I think that covers all the trips...

Josh finished his very last class to graduate. He got a promotion at work. He received an award for being an All-Star Transportation Security Officer. And he was nominated for employee of the quarter. So his life has been very exciting. When he is not at work he tries to fill all his spare time with golfing.

Avery is getting so big. She is a great talker and is very smart. She counts to ten, sings her alphabet, and has several other songs memorized. She loves to color, loves to dip her food in any type of sauce, has done pretty well sleeping in her "big girl" bed, is learning that time out is not so fun, still loves shoes, loves to dance, still takes her naps everyday, and did I mention she is getting cuter and cuter!

Well, she just walked in from her nap so I guess that is all for today. I will post picture soon...
