I meant to do this yesterday, but I just didn't have time to...

Two years ago on December 14, 2007 Josh and I were engaged. We had picked my ring out and I knew he had it, but I just didn't know when he would ask. But, one morning I got a phone call from him saying his dad needed to go flying to keep something up to date and invited us to go with him. I immediately thought, "THIS IS IT!" I told my roommates when I left that I would be coming back with a ring on my finger. We were all so excited! Josh picked me up and we met his parents at the airport. Everyone just acted like nothing was going to happen. I still had my suspicions though. We took off and I just sat there waiting to see how it was all going to play out. We flew for what seemed to be hours and when we were over the Timpanogos Temple Josh turned to me, squeezed himself between the seats to get on his knee and asked me to marry him. It was so sweet. Immediately, Andrea turned around with the camera and took pictures. We celebrated with some sparkling cider. We have now been married for 591 days. It has been the best 591 days of my life. I couldn't ask for a better husband, best friend, and father of my little baby girl.

We went to Amazing Jakes one night for dinner. We had the all you can eat pizza buffet, played lots of games and bowled! We love bowling! Avery slept the whole time :(

Avery had her 2 month dr's appointment this week. She had three shots! It was the saddest day for us to see her get them. She didn't cry for very long, but her little tears just make it so unbearable. She is growing so much. She weighs a whopping 9 lbs 3 oz and is 22 inches long! Okay, so she is still really little for being 2 months, but to us she is getting so big.

We had a great Thanksgiving! Lots of yummy food and fun with the family! Grandma Pat came down to visit so that made it extra special!

Trina and my mom did a chocolate fountain with pink white chocolate! It was delicious! Avery got a lot of gifts--clothes, diapers, blankets, bath stuff, bibs...

What We've Been Up To...

Avery had another Dr's appointment last week and she weighed 7 lbs 2 oz. I totally thought she was going to weigh more, but I was wrong. The Dr said she is growing wonderfully so far so we'll see when we go again for her 2 month appointment in a few weeks.

Here's what we've been up to recently...

We had a donut eating contest at our family halloween party. Josh beat the boys and I beat the girls. Josh just has a big mouth so he won, but I have big love for krispy kreme donuts :)
