The road to Nevada

On our move down to Nevada we stopped in Boise and stayed with my sister, Tess, and her cute little family. It was fun to see them. I wish we got to see them more!

In that top picture Tess looks all nice and ready for church and I'm all nice and greasy ready for a long ride in the car!

Wyn and her Auntie Tess!

This was the best picture I could get of Myles and Graham. Maybe next time we'll get one of both their faces!

Sweet Graham!

Ryan and Kenny pulling each other around.

Miss Wyn haning out in the shade.

It was so fun to see them!! Someday I hope to be neighbors!

Goodbye Walla Walla

Goodbye to a good townhome, a good city, a good ward, and good friends.

My friend Danielle and I had babies a week apart. It was so nice to be able to talk with someone who was going through the exact same thing at the same time. We both had our first girls, so that was fun too! Saying goodbye to Danielle and her family was so sad!!

A Goodbye Party

Our good friends had a goodbye party for us. It was tons of fun and sad too. We're so thankful to have met so many wonderful people.

Here's all of us together one last time...until our reunion on the golf course, I mean! :)

Just the guys. I had a really hard time getting a serious picture from them. I seriously took like ten pictures of them.

Just the girls.

Cheerleading pose!

These girls were so much fun! We had many a girl's nights that made us feel like we were fifteen again. I only wish we all would've started hanging out two years ago instead of 6 months ago!

We miss you Walla Walla!!

We still have Mario Cart though, right? :)

A Bus Ride

About 2 months ago, just a couple days before we moved from Walla Walla, we took our little family on a bus ride. We had always wanted to go because Walla Walla has the cutest little trolley cars that they use for buses, and Myles was always so excited when he saw one.
So we walked to the bus stop and waited for a few minutes. The bus came and Myles was so excited to actually board the bus. Then we sat down and told him we were riding the bus to Main Street so we could go to the candy store. He was very happy with that idea.
The bus started moving and we asked him if he wanted to look out the window. He jumped up onto my lap and turned around to face out the window. I will never forget the look of complete satisfaction and excitement that came over his face. He seemed very pleased to be on the bus and to see that it was moving down the road. I'm sure being out of his car seat was a big plus too. He pointed at a big, red barn out the window and said, "Oh it's Pig's house." (Pig from Word World.)
We went to the candy store and for once that was not the highlight of our trip to Main Street, it was most definitely the bus ride. I'm so glad we squeezed that ride into the last couple days of being there. It's such a great memory! I wish we had pictures, but of course our camera battery was dead. Darn!
