Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and Noah made Keith a Father's Day card in primary today ! I thought I would share it with you all because I think it is so cute! The primary presidency had this super cute idea to have the primary kids fill out this little booklet of questions about their dads. Here are the questions and how Noah answered them...
My Dad has white colored eyes, and brown colored hair.
My Dad is I don't know years old and my mom and dad have been married for 2 years.
My Dad was born in 3.
Why did Heavenly Father make fathers? I don't know.
Why did Heavenly Father give you your dad? Because he loves me.
What does your dad do when he is not at work? He rides bikes. (this is funny because Keith doesn't even have a bike!)
Why did your mom marry your dad? She loved him.
What did your mom need to know before she married your dad? For I don't know.
What ingredients are fathers made of? Love, Happy, and Nice.
If you had a whole day to do whatever you wanted with your dad, what would it be? Go to the snow mountains.
What does your dad do that makes you laugh? He tickles me then says something funny.
What is your dad good at? Skating on the snow mountain. (we have no idea what he's talking about!)
What kind of little boy was your dad? He was like me, but he growed up to be a grown up.
What one thing would you change about your dad? He spends it at skateboarding. (Again, this is funny because Keith doesn't skateboard!)
What makes your dad special? I think he likes chocolate chip cookies.

This gave us a pretty good laugh and I think it made Keith's day!

I love these two kiddos!

This post might be kind of boring, but I just felt like I needed to write this down!

So, I have been pretty busy this summer! I am working on my prereqs to apply to nursing school, so I decided to take a chemistry class this summer. Why did I do this? I have no idea! It's an accelerated course and I've never taken chemistry before so I feel a little overwhelmed. Nothing makes me feel better than walking in the door after work or school having my kids run to give me a hug yelling "Mommy!". I've really struggled with trying to balance school, work, being a mom, & wife. I feel guilty sometimes wondering if I'm spending enough time with my family, but they are all so supportive so that really helps me get through it all. Keith has really had to take on more responsibility since he is really the only parent at home Monday-Thursday. He's doing such an amazing job and I am so grateful to have him as my husband. He's very supportive of me going to school always tells me how proud of me he is. When I leave for school, Noah always says, "Have fun at school mom!" and Delaney gives my a kiss and says, "Byee!".

These two have grown up so much and it's bitter-sweet. I love watching them grow, but I wish I could just freeze them the way they are right now! Noah is such a loving big brother. Anytime Delaney is whining, he goes over to her and in this high pitch little voice he says, "What's wrong baby girls?". I love it! His favorite thing to do lately is play out in out backyard. The heat just doesn't seem to phase him. I love watching from the window and just seeing his imagination take over. He's usually shooting bad guys and then every once in a while he'll fall to the ground because he's been shot! It cracks me up!

I can't believe how much Delaney has grown, she'll be 18 months next week. She has developed such a little personality and I absolutely love her little voice. She loves to sing Patty Cake, Popcorn Popping, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. She sings them over and over and over again! She's learning to say Please (peese), Thank you (kay koo), and I want a bite (a by bite). Anytime commercials come on TV that have music in them, she runs over and dances in front of the TV. it's the cutest thing!

Words can not describe how much I love these two and how much joy they bring to my life!

Soccer

Noah finished up his spring soccer season last weekend. This was his second season playing and it was fun to see how much he improved this season from the last! He had an awesome coach and he made some good friends. He loves playing soccer and we already signed him up for the fall season. I love taking him to practice and spending Saturday mornings at his game, but it will be nice to have the summer off. Grandma, Mema, Courtney, Dakota, Kim, Stephen, & Uncle Jim came to as many games as they could and we really appreciate the support they gave Noah. He loves being the center of attention and having all of us cheer for him. He's moving up to the 4-6 age group next season so we're excited to see how he does! Here are some pictures I took at his soccer party and at the last game!
