Handsome Man!

Payton is all ready to go to pre-school. He is learning so much. This is his firt year of pre-school (he didn't want to do it last year) He is my little man that just refuses to learn stuff, like writing his name, recognizing letters and numbers and so on, until now. He is doing great! He can write his whole name by himself, he knows what street he lives on, he knows his phone# and so on. One thing he did learn early was his birthday. I am proud of you little man, and I know you are working hard and having fun. Mommy loves you so very much! xoxoxoxoxo

1st Grade

My Miss Mae started first grade today. He new teacher is Mr Squire and he is such an awesome teacher and so created with them. Mae's most excited thing to do when started 1st grade was to eat school lunch. She is so funny. The girl will eat anything, so I am sure she will love anything they are serving. Here she is all cute ready for her first day. You are so beautiful and I just love you so much. I love you to the moon and back, Miss Mae! She thought it would be funny to see how big she could smile, because when she smiles she squints her eyes just like her dad and she was trying not to. So silly!

St George Trip

We went to St George with Jared's parents and stayed in their condo. We had alot of fun swimming, playing miniture golf ( in the heat of the day with the temp at 106, we don't know what we were thinking). We also went to Zions Natl Park and enjoyed a long hot hike. On the way back down we all got ice cream cones and it was the best ice cream cone I have ever had. My kids thought so also because they finished every drop, which never happens on huge cones. On our way back home from St George we stopped at Cove Fort and a real good time looking around an learning about all the stuff they happen displayed.

Jordyn's 6th birthday

I know I am skipping around on dates, but I am getting behind on blogging. July 19, 2008 my beautiful daughter Jordyn celebrated her 6th birthday. Man they grow up fast. Where did the time fly. First on Friday the 18th she had an all girls party with some of her closest friends. We had pizza, cupcakes, manicures and made really cool braceletts(spelling). They all had a blast. On Sat, her actually birthday, we did the whole family bbq like we do every year.

Miss Jordyn Mae, you are getting so big and I love to see you grow into such a beatiful young lady. You are such a help to mommy and I enjoy our girly times together. I love you so much! Happy Birthday Princess!!!

Memories!

Do you remember when?
Here are the rules.
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends or if you're a blog hopper who happens upon my blog regularly...leave me a comment. There must be reason you keep stopping by! Say something! If you don't have a blog or don't know how to sign in, sign up for an account! You won't regret it!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog (if you have one) and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!
3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include him!
This is your chance to let me
know you're checking my blog!
Give me a shout out!

...a couple more

Camping @ Ledgefork

We went camping July 4th-7th with my cousin Sharon's family. Jared's two brothers and wifey decided Thurs night that they would come with us and they stayed until Sunday morning. I am so glad they came, we had alot of fun with them. Jared's parents came up Saturday and spent the day with us and stayed for dinner and dessert. We had alot of spending the weekend with Sharon's family also. The kids played so much and got sooo dirty. I made some yummy meals and we had some hilarious conversations. We always love to go camping!!

Splash Pad!

Another mommy group at the awesome Herriman splash pad! Cheri, Dot and I were the only ones that showed up, but we had fun and then got rained on.

Wasatch Lagoon Day!

We look forward to this every year, mostly the kids! Wasatch pays for the family to go to Lagoona and for dinner. They have a really nice raffle after dinner and Jared never wins. BUT this year he got a little lucky, he won the biggest prize: A Weekend Getaway! He got a big basket full with 2 really nice his and hers bath robes, pink and black, a bottle of sparkling cider, wine cups, a candle, some chocolates and then our one night stay at Little America in their Luxary Suites and a $50 food credit to one of their restraunts. We were so excited! Way to go my sweet love!!! Maybe that getaway will help us have another baby! :)

Jordyn's last day

Jordyn is now finished with Kindergarten. She really enjoyed this past year and is really going to miss her teacher, for she is quitting to be a stay at home mom. She has made so many friends, but is very excited to move on and actually eat lunch at school. Here are a few shots of classmates on their last day activities. They had a teddy bear picnic and some relay races.

Bee's game

We got some free tickets from Jared's work and also got a free meal. Nothing is better then FREE! We had a couple extra tickets and invited Shell and Rich along. We had alot of fun. The kids got chosen to stand up on the first base dug out and be on the big screen for a Dino race. Payton caught a baseball and the kids got their stuff signed by the Bee. They were scoring that night.

Back Again!

It has been a while since I have updated things, so I will just thru the last couple of months or so to catch up.

On June 7, 2008 my little sister got married to her high school sweetheart. They were married in the Bountiful Temple and had their reception in Tammys boyfriends backyard. It was all so beautiful. Here are a few snapshots I have. Then you will see some shots of Tammy and I trying to catch the bouquet (I know I am married) We were trying to catch it for our daughters and it ended up a battle as you can see! Fun times! Congrats Rachelle and Richard, it was a beautiful day.

What Happened?

Payton came in crying so hard today from outside and his nose was bleeding and his head didn't looks so good. Well he said he was running and he fell and hit is head on the cement. Poor kid I don't think he has ever not had some kind of mark on his face. One heals and before it disappears another accident! What is it with boys, they are such accident prone. It was sad. We washed him up and had him keep wash rag on his head and nose so it felt cool and he would randomly ask us if he had blood running down his face and we kept reassuring him he didn't.

So Cute!
