I'm still alive!!

So it has officially been to long since I wrote last. How sad for me and all my readers! Well I don't really think I can catch you up on over a year, so I will just start fresh. A few updates here and there....
So after 3 years of trying to have another baby, we finally mastered the plan. Our sweet baby boy, Lucas Alan, will be born via c-section on New Years Eve!! We are so excited and delighted to welcome another child to our family. The kids have so much love for their new little brother already. Every single night after kissing mom and dad goodnight, they kiss my belly and say, "good night Lucas". It's fun to see. Since the baby will be born only 5 days after Christmas, it has been quite difficult to get a Christmas list out of any of them because they say they don't want anything, they just want the baby. Well I guess Christmas will be easy this year! Ha Ha. If only I felt good about that!!!
Over the summer/fall Payton and Kenyon both participated in Soccer, Payton played baseball and Jordyn started girls softball. It was quite a busy time for us, but it was alot of fun to see new talent develope in each one of them. I love to watch my children play sports, it makes me happy! Kenyon is just excited that he is now old enough to join in on the sports playing, and man does he have some talent on the soccer field(along with his brother. They take after their daddy on that subject! Also our beautiful daughter turned 8 and was baptized at the end of July. What a wonderful day that was! We had sooo many family and friends show up to support her and her special day. She was baptized and confirmed by her father and it will be such a memorable day for her. I am so proud of you Jordyn and choices that you make. You are a wonderful persone, a great friend to many. I love you Miss Mae!!
We had many fun camping trips this summer with family and friends. Here are some random photos from the Parry galary! Hopefully I can keep up on this and maybe think of it as a mini journal! To start off, camping at Soapstone...

Spring Pictures

I got the boys pictures taken also when Jordyn had them done at the school.

Payton turned 5!

Man, how time flys. P turned 5 on April 21, 2009. I remember how cute and little he was with those squeezable baby cheeks, lover boy eyes and soft spoken voice. He was always so shy and never said a word. THEN.....he realized he had a voice and from then on he never stops talking!!! I used to say how much I loved his teeth, he has a slight over bite and when he was little his smile with those teeth were so adorable. Then he was playing on the bunk bed and fell and landed on the foot board and killed on front tooth and chipped the other. Boys.....never without a bruise, scrape or owie! He is such a sweet loving boy. You can't count on your fingers the amount of times he tells you he loves you in one day. He thinks he's tough and when he starts talking with his dad, he just thinks he so old. He is a great brother and friend. He is such the little sports boy and he plays soccer and is so good. He loves attention, especially when others come to watch him play. He just smiles the whole time.
My sweet boy starts kindergarten this year, how crazy is that. I will have two in school and one at home...........YAHOO!
From his cute phrases: "Me Benjamin, huh mom" "I wear boy big pants" "No, no, no, your gorgeous" to what he wants to be when he grows up, "Mom, I think I want to be a fire fighter when I grow up!" I love this sweet boy. Payton you are a wonderful son and I am proud of who you have become so far. Happy 5th birthday. I love you!

Here I am again!

So as you can see, I haven't done this for a while so I need to catch up on ALOT of stuff. I posted pictures of one childs birthday so I have to do the others (even though Payton's was in April). Now my brother is moving to AZ for his wife and 4 cute children, so I need to try to keep this updated so we can stay in contact some how.

3. Go to my 6th picture.
4. Blog about it.
5. Tag 6 people to do the same.

I believe this picture was taken shortly after we brought Kenyon home from the hospital, so she was 3 years old. She is so adorable. I started laughing when this picture popped up, she still has her baby chubby cheeks. If you were to just see her face when she was little you would have definitly thought she was a chubby baby, but that was not the case....she had such a round face and she was the tiniest little might you have ever seen. Her weight at 1 yr was a wopping 14 lbs, and I think that was soaking wet! :) Sweet memorys of our children!

I now Tag...Dorothy, Cheri, Jamey, Camellia, Steph and Maryann

Ok, I forgot to post pictures from Kenyon's birthday....woops! So now my post will be a little out of order, oh well.

So my baby turned 3.....so sad, he's growing way to fast!
When I got pregnant with him, I was not quite ready because I had just had a 15 pound cyst removed a few month earlier, but we were excited to welcome another baby since we weren't sure if we were going to be able to have any more kids going into that surgery. It was a great pregnancy, as they all were. I was scheduled once again for a c-section on March 2, 2006. After they delivered him, the doctor found another cyst that was two pounds and then he just went ahead and took out my right ovary along with the cyst.
Kenyon has always been very attached to me and not such a friendly baby, but that's ok, we love even more for that! He has pretty much ruled the roost here in our house. I guess he feels like he has to be tuff to put up with two older siblings, he has done a good job of it.
One thing that I hope I never forget is, that he always wants to cuddle with me. Since the day I stopped nursing him I felt like I stopped him to early because all he wanted to do was lay skin to skin on my chest and just lay there. Still to this day he does that. He can't lay on my shirt, he pulls it down a little(nothing is exposing and he doesn't lay on my boobs, just my chest...got to clear that up) and lays his face on my chest. It's very sweet, except when he crawls in my bed in the middle of the night and wants to do that and then I get no sleep!!!
We love you Mr Kenner boy and we hope you had a wonderful birthday with all you family here celebrating with you! You need to slow the growing process down just a little so I can take it all in better!!

Six Flags Trip

Posted by Picasa

We went to Six Flags in California March 6-8 with another couple from our ward. We were without kids this trip and we had so much fun. The roller coasters there are flat out CRAZY scary!!!! There were a couple coasters that I couldn't believe I was even going to ride, but I would do it again in a heartbeat.
We flew in Friday afternoon and hung out at the, got some lunch and went and walked 'Down Town Disney' and they went back to our hotel swam and hot tubbed. We spent all day Saturday and Six Flags and came home Sunday. It was good for Jared and I to get away alone with no children for a while, but I was excited to get back home to them!

Oquirrh Pride Award

Ok so I got a letter in the mail from Jordyn's principal, letting me know that Jordyn would be recieving the Oquirrh Pride award at their awards assembly. It's a secret from the child and I was invited to come and attend it. She looked so cute and was so happy she got it.
Miss Mae, I am so proud of the little girl that you have become and the hard worker that you are. The comments that your teacher, Mr. Squire, said about you is amazing. It's great to hear from someone else how wonderful, smart and talented you are. I am proud of your kind heart and how you have listened to the words I tell you almost everyday, "Be a friend to everyone". You truly are a great friend to everyone and your little stories you come home and tell me just proves that. Mommy and Daddy love you so much and are proud of you for getting this award!

Here is what her teacher had to say about her........

"This month, Mr. Squire hardly had to think at all about who deserved the Oquirrh Pride Award. Jordyn is always on task--meaning she always listens when the teacher speaks, she always follows directions, and she thinks before she does or says anything. Jordyn always raises her hand in class, comes up with great questions, and is nice to everybody she meets. She is an excellent reader. She's reading like a second grader and has already moved up five guided reading levels since the beginning of the year. She has passed off all of her first grade sight words (and she's almost done with the second grade words). Jordyn works hard every minute that she is at school, and it shows!! She is very good at math. She has nearly passed off all of her math facts, and gets very high scores on her math tests. She does very well in school because she works hard and is an excellent listener. Thanks for being such a good student, Jordyn. You are kind to others and you always use your super student skills. You make Mr. Squire's job exciting and fun, Thank you for being such a good student, and keep up the great work!"

Doesn't that just bring tears to your eyes?! Ok, it does mine because she is my little girl! It was a great day!!!

Happy Valentines!

Ok so I am a little late, but I haven't got on here and posted for a little while.
So this is the Valentine's "Basket" (we went a little different route) that I made her for her class party. She loved and was so excited to take it to school to show her friends and teacher. Little miss Mae is so simple minded and gets excited about the little things. I had alot of fun making it for her. This was that night and some of the 3D hearts were falling off, but it looked good!

New Do's

I found this blog that shows you different ways to do a little girls hair. I love it! I can always use someone else's ideas. Jordyn has such thin hair and a few cowlicks on top of her head, that it's not as easy to do many do's. I am adding diffferent pictures to show my learning talent. I have to say though, she really doesn't like me to do it, she gets impatient, but I love her!

Clogging Recital

So here are some pictures of mine and Jordyn's clogging recital. Jordyn did excellant, she was on count the whole time. Their team looked so cute and did such a good job. Good job Miss Mae, I am so proud of the work that you put into this and the many practices you had to perfect it!
On the other hand, mommy did crappy. I am always nervous when I get in front of a crowd, but in high school during my many performances in front many crowds and the whole school, I don't believe I ever messed up. Well there is a first for everything. I was completely nervous and started the dance great and messed up three stinkin' times. After the first time I was so embarressed and then I just kept messing up. I ended good, so I guess that counts for something. I practiced before the recital and did it great. I broke under pressure and an FYI to me next time, don't look at my family when I am trying to dance. Thank you for everyone that came to support my little princess in her recital. Thanks also to Aunt Shell and Uncle Richard for bringing her flowers. She watered them everyday, each individual flower. She claimed that was the only way they would stay alive, she did a good job of keeping them that way. Jordyn made it a point to let me know that I did a good job but that I messed up and she didn't. To funny!
