Just over a week ago I got to go to Women's Conference at BYU with my sisters and mom. It was a nice time, although we kept picking the wrong classes. I still got some great things out of it, and the best was just spending time with my girls.
A while ago I took a little trip with Marisa, my mom, and our kids to St. George for some sunshine. It was a nice quick 3 day trip. The kids enjoyed swimming at the hotel more than anything else. I wish we could have spent more time in Zion Canyon. My dad is currently building a home near St. George, so there will be more reason for us to get down there more often.
In March I drove (yes, drove) to Texas to see my sister, Amanda. I loved this trip! It was great to see where Amanda lives, her neighborhood, San Antonio, and other family on Jacob's side.
Here is my mother-in-law and her sister, Suzie. My husband's family had a memorial run in San Antonio for his cousin, Timothy, who passed away a few years ago. It happened to be on a weekend that I was there, so I got to see a lot of his family that I don't get to see often.
We had a very quick visit to the Riverwalk. I want to go back with just Jacob. It isn't the best place for kids, but it was very quaint. I loved it.
We also visited the San Jose mission while in San Antonio. What a great place to take pictures! Jade wishing at the well.
The kids finally got some quality time with their cousins. It was heaven. My kids are younger than their cousins, so they were constantly entertained. They are so cute!!!
