Thank goodness for Curt!

It was a tremendous amount of work to haul the little one to the top of the hill again and again.

First snowfall!

Josh's Aunt and Uncle got him a sled for Christmas. He didn't understand it then, but he does now and he loved his morning of sledding. Posted by Picasa

Ribbit

Jumping around like a frog. Great fun.

My Little Frog

Granny got Josh a toddler-sized frog towel for Christmas. He loves it.

Helping

Josh loves to help. He likes to stir too, but that gets pretty messy.

Picking out the good bits

Mallow! Mallow! Mallow! My boy like marshmallows. Sigh. Posted by Picasa

Class Picture

Here is Josh's first class picture. We're blessed that Miss Mickey (left), and Miss Donnita (right) have been at the Goddard School 10, and 12 years, respectively. It takes a very special love to choose to work with toddlers every day and these two ladies definitely have it. They're tough but fair. I've really learned a lot just watching them interact with the class. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Dinner

My big boy eating his Christmas dinner. His shirt (from his Auntie) says Elmo loves Boston University. It's one of his favorite shirts - he'll always choose it if given a choice. Posted by Picasa

Cozy Coupe

We avoided getting him this car for a long time because it's so big, but he adores it and spends a lot of time playing in it. Posted by Picasa

His first Bronco coat!

Curt and I love his Bronco coat from his Granny. Posted by Picasa

Presents

He was a little young to want to open all his presents. We had to help a lot. But he opened a few and loved it. He really loves his counting cookie jar. The cookie jar counts the cookies as they're dropped in. It's really cute.  Posted by Picasa

Keeping curious little fingers busy

We've found that there's just no way to stop Josh from "helping" so when we're trying to cook we set him up with two bowls, a wooden spoon to stir with, a measuring cup and a cup of cereal (Cheerios or Kix, usually). The cereal usually ends up on the floor where the dogs are only too happy to help clean up, but we get 30-40 minutes of relative calm to cook. Did you know cats like Kix cereal? Who knew?

Greeting the underwater santa

Josh gave the Newport Aquarium underwater Santa a high-five but still wasn't sure about him.
