Yesterday, Ryan and I had a huge surprise. We're pregnant. But that's not the surprise... we have known that for a while now. I went in for my first ultrasound yesterday and it turns out that we are having TWINS!!! It was the big joke around here that of course I would be the one having twins since we got pregnant so soon after Brad, so as soon as the nurse said "congrats, you're having twins" I immediately said, "no, you're joking". But she wasn't. There they both were on the monitor moving around. I think I'm still in shock because Ryan is worried at how well I'm taking the news :). That means I will have 3 babies under the age of 18 months, possibly 17 months. And I have always looked at women who have had twins and thought, wow- how on earth does she do it? But I guess in 6 short short short months, we will find out. Yes, I am 12+ weeks along already and they are due to arrive September 1st but will most likely come early. So any advice on surviving with twins (more like triplets) is welcome. You're in shock? Ya- me too.
