Ice skating

We went down to Santa Monica to ice skate on the outdoor ice rink.  It was so much fun.  Zoie started out a little rough but by the end she was a pro.  She skated for 3 hours and did not want to leave.  We just might have to go back before they close for the season!

We had our ward Christmas party a few weeks ago.  We had the traditional ham, cheesy potatoes, rolls and salad.  Santa made an appearance.  While Zoie was thrilled to see him, Zack was terrified!  He was hiding behind me and then when Josh tried to put him on Santa's lap he held on to Josh for dear life.  Poor kid.  But it was pretty cute:)

The kids had fun learning how to play basketball while we were in AZ for Thanksgiving.

O Christmas Tree...

We busted out our 6 foot artificial tree that we bought our first year of marriage.  I believe we got it at Walmart pre-lit for $30.  I can't wait for the day that we get a new tree, but until then this gem will do.  Zoie had so much fun putting the ornaments on and Zack loved taking them off:)  We finished the night off with a bowl of our favorite holiday ice cream.... peppermint joe joe's from Trader Joe's.  We love this time of year!
