Thanksgiving 2009

We had a great Thanksgiving this year! We spent the holiday in Arizona and had so much fun! Zoie and I flew down a few days before Josh so that we could be there to celebrate my dad's birthday and my nephew's baptism. Josh joined us as soon as he could get away from school. We had fun spending time with family, shopping, going to a movie, seeing the lights at the temple, making gingerbread houses, making smores around the fire, and getting family pictures taken! We ate delicious food and I am pretty sure I put on a few pounds from it! Before the trip I was barely showing and now I definently look pregnant! We had such a fun time and we are excited to head back to AZ again in a few weeks for Christmas!

It's a.......

BOY!!

We found out today that we are going to be having a little boy! We are so excited! Everything looked great in the ultrasound, which made Josh and I very relieved. He spent most of the 45 min. ultrasound sleeping, which gave the doctor a great opportunity to make sure it really is a boy! Now we just need to figure out a name! Any suggestions?

USC Football Game..

Yesterday's football game was probably USC's worst game in a long time, but we still had fun! It was my first time going to a USC game, and hopefully not my last!

Girls Night Out!!

Last night me and 7 other girls went to the taping for So You Think You Can Dance! We had so much fun. We waited in lines for a few hours and finally a few minutes before the show was going to start we got put into seats as seat fillers. Luckily none of us had to give up our seats and we all got to enjoy the show! After the show we walked over to The Grove and went to Maggiano's for dinner. Since Josh's cousin was on last season we knew that all of the dancers went there after the show so we had to go! We got to see a few of the dancers and some of my friends even got their picture with a few of them! It was such a great night....especially since I came home to a sleeping child and a clean house, thanks Josh!

On Thursday Zoie and I were able to get together with the USC dental wives club and go to the Huntington Gardens! This place is absolutely beautiful! I forgot to bring my camera so I stole a picture of the kids from another girl. There were a lot of little kids between all of us! We got a lot of stares and comments from people. We were like a baby parade walking around with all of our strollers!


On Friday afternoon we met up with some friends for a fun evening at Disneyland! I love living so close to the happiest place on earth! I was excited when I got there to see that they had already started putting up some of the Christmas decorations. We stayed until 11pm! The kids were exhausted but it was well worth it! I love seeing how excited Zoie gets when she sees all of the characters.

Halloween 2009!!!

This was probably my favorite Halloween ever! Zoie completely understood the concept of Halloween this year and it was so much fun! We started off our evening at the ward trunk or treat....

Getting cute little Minnie Mouse all dressed up. I was nervous that she wouldn't wear the costume since she is so picky about what clothes she wears, but luckily she loved it!

After the trunk or treat we went down to Old Town Pasadena to have pizza and get a free yogurt at our favorite yogurt shop!



Our friends Chris and Jenny.....the kids were a little scared of them but I thought they looked great!


After we all got our free yogurt we headed over to San Marino to do some more trick or treating! The houses in this neighborhood are amazing and I really enjoyed bringing Zoie up to the doors so I could sneak a peek inside these beautiful homes!

We stopped by the famous "Father of the Bride" house!!


By the end of the night Zoie would walk up to the doors and say "trick or treat" and after they gave her candy she said "thank you, happy halloween" It was so cute!

Some of the houses went all out with their decorations. Im not sure what this house was thinking....but I thought it was a little disturbing.


We got home and dumped out her bag of candy to see what she got.... I would say that the night was pretty successful! That is a lot of candy for a 2 year old!



Im not sure how Zoie knew it was daylight savings but she slept in this morning and we all got some extra sleep! I think we just wore her out yesterday! We had so much fun and this morning she woke up saying "Where is my candy?"
