YEAH! I finally gave Zoie her first haircut! The back was starting to get so long and the top is still very bald! I cut about an inch off of the back. I can't wait for the rest of her hair to grow in so I can play with it. But until then... she is going to look like a little boy. She rarely wears headbands anymore so people often mistake her for a little boy. They other day I got off the elevator and a lady told me that Zoie was the most handsome little boy. She was wearing a pink outfit. Oh well, the lady was probably 80 so maybe her vison isn't very clear!

Happy Birthday ZOIE!!
I can't believe Zoie is a year old today! Time has gone by soo fast! I feel like she should still be a newborn. This past year has been so much fun with her. She makes my life so much better! I love being able to be a stay at home mom and play with her all day. Here are a few things she is doing right now...
- Running! She has mastered the skill of walking and she is starting to run. She also loves to climb up stairs.
- She says mama, dada, baba, and no (although no sounds more like nana).
- If everyone around her is laughing she laughs, even if she has no clue what they are laughing about.
- She weighs around 18 pounds
- She is the greatest sleeper. She goes to bed at 8pm and doesn't wake up until 8:30am. She also takes 2 naps during the day.
- When I tell her that it is time for bed she puts her binky in her mouth and walks to her crib.
- When she is awake, she doesn't stop moving. She is always getting into something.
- She loves to eat. And she will eat just about anything I put in front of her.
Zoie is such a good little girl. She rarely cries, and when she does it only lasts a few seconds. I am so lucky to have such a sweet little girl! Happy Birthday Zoie!

Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to the worlds best daddy! We had fun today hanging out as a family. We went to church, took a three hour nap, played at the park, and had steak for dinner. Lately Zoie has become a little daddy's girl. In the morning when I go get her from her crib the first thing she says is "dada" . She loves her daddy! Josh is so cute with her and loves her so much!

I'm so LUCKY!!
Yesterday morning when I got back from working out Josh and Zoie were gone. I tried calling him a few times but he never answered so I just figured that they were at the office or something. About 10 minutes later they came walking into the house carrying the most beautiful arrangement of roses! I love flowers so it was a great surprise!

Swimming!!
This past week has been very hot and humid out here! Zoie and I spent a few days at the pool and she loves it! She has NO fear of the water and I have to watch her the entire time! We have so much fun at the pool and I am so glad our complex has a nice pool cuz I am sure we will use it a ton this summer!

Josh and I went into the city to walk around and do a little bit of touring and we had so much fun! We started our day off by going to Ellen's Stardust Diner. The food was just ok but the entertainment was great! All of the waiters sing and dance for you while you eat! Zoie was having the time of her life! She just sat there clapping her hands and smiling the whole time! After lunch we went to the huge F.A.O Schwarz store. We put Zoie down and she walked directly over to a little stuffed puppy dog and she carried it around with her the entire time we were in the store. I felt bad taking it from her so I bought it and she is loving it. She sleeps with it and whenever we leave the house she takes it with her. Anyway, at the toy store we went up to the big piano that is on the move BIG and played on it for a little while. After the toy store we went down to china town to check out the bargans. I enjoy bargaining with the people to see how much I can get them to drop the price and then leave without buying anything. Some of those Asians can get really mad! My mom knows what I am talking about!:) We grabbed some new york pizza and then hopped on the subway and headed home! It was a fun day and I especially loved spending it with Josh and Zoie!
ps. One of the highlights of the day included spotting The Naked Cowboy and The Naked Cowgirl in Times Square. We got a picture with the cowgirl and she seriously is so old and gross. She should NOT be wearing what she is wearing! We also saw Sabra from So You Think You Can Dance walking around Soho! I love that show so I was pretty excited when I saw her, but I was too shy to ask for a picture.....now I am mad at myself!
