Its been a while since I blogged so I thought I would catch everyone up with what is happening in our lives right now!! I recently started a job doing hair at Remedez Hair Spa in University Mall. Its going good but I miss working at Tantrum. The hours are pretty brutal since I work until 9pm at least 3 nights a week. But I cant complain, at least it is a job. Josh is very busy with his classes and studies all day! Between my job and his school we rarely see eachother! We look forward to Sunday cuz that is the only day that we have to do absolutly nothing! The weather is changing up here and it is starting to get cold. There is snow on the mountains and Josh is pretty excited cuz that is a sign that snowboarding season is just around the corner! Other than school and work, not too much is happening in our lives. I will try and get some pictures up on here soon!

It's been a while since I last wrote so I thought I would update everyone on my life! Well, I finally got a job!! I will be working at an Aveda salon in the mall. I am really excited but a little bummed that I wont be starting till next week. So until then, I am trying to stay busy and not spend too much money! Josh is staying very busy with school. He has three midterms this week so he is spending a lot of time studying. This past weekend Josh and I went up to Salt Lake for his mission reunion. It was fun meeting some of the guys he served with. We also had three boys staying with us over the weekend. It was pretty crowded in our little house. It was a party! On Saturday we went up to Salt Lake and the boys went to priesthood meeting while I met a friend at the mall! It was a fun and very eventful weekend! The weather up here is changing and the leaves are beautiful! I love this time of year!

BACK IN PROVO!!
After a 30 hour journey in 1.5 days Josh and I finally made it back to good old PROVO!! It was great getting back to our apartment and back to Cafe Rio! We really missed good mexican food when we were in Maryland! We have been here for about 2 weeks now and Josh is busy with school and I am looking for a job. Life is good! We finally got our new mac computer today and I absolutly love it! I am having so much fun with it! I took the picture above from the web cam. I found a cool program called photo booth that lets me take crazy pictures! I had too much fun doing this! I caught myself laughing out loud a few times! Anyway, I hope everyone is doing great!

Last Blog In Maryland!!!
This is going to be my last blog while here in D.C.! Tomorrow Josh is returning his laptop to Costco becuase he has decided that he wants an Apple laptop, therefore leaving us with no computer! When we get back to Utah we are purchasing a new Apple laptop for Josh and a new Apple desk top for me! Im really excited because Apple's can do amazing things with pictures! Anyway, Josh and I will be making our journey back to Utah sometime next week. It has been a great summer and we are going to miss it out here. Although, I will not miss the cockroaches and living in the ghetto. We have had some fun experiences and visited places we may never see again. Some of our most memorable moments of living here include:
1. Getting a $180 speeding ticket while going through Texas on our way out here.
2. Getting a $250 parking ticket at our apartment complex the first week we were here.
3. Being the minority in our neighborhood
4. Getting rocks thrown at our car ( we have a dent to prove it)
5. Going to New York City
6. Going to the Inner Harbor of Baltimore
7. Eating sandwiches for lunch at Potbelly
8. Going to bed at 1am and waking up at 10am
9. Watching 4 seasons of 24
10. Visiting the sites of downtown D.C.
11. 4th of July at the National Mall
12. Shopping in Georgetown
13. Taking the Metro
14. Teaching the Nursery kids in our ward
15. Watching hockey games with the crazy Canadians!
16. Going to Ocean City, Maryland for my birthday
17. Going to Virgina to visit Brandon, Jess, and Boston
18. Shopping at H&M
19. Living on the 18th floor of a high rise apartment complex
20. Waking up almost every morning to drilling and pounding
21. Having black mold grow on our air conditioning unit
22. Our kitchen being infested with cockroaches
23. Josh almost pooping his pants while selling
24. Getting lost several times during rush hour in downtown D.C.
25. Josh getting called "white bread" and "cracker"
Well, those are some of our most cherished memories! It has been a fun and exciting summer!

4TH OF JULY!
4TH OF JULY WEEKEND!
Brandon, Jess, and Boston came to visit us for the weekend so we went downtown to show them some of the sites! Josh and I in front of the White House! The White House (view from the front)
Boston is getting so cute and big!
D.C. Chinatown! We went down there to find some good Chinese food but instead we just found a bunch of gross restaurants and bugs floating in our drinks!
Uncle Josh holding Boston!

I HATE COCROACHES!
Until now, i could count how many cocroaches I had seen in my life on one hand. Now I see them on a regular basis. I never saw them until the pest control guy came and sprayed my apartment. I guess he brought all of them out from their homes. I clean my kitchen daily and make sure that I dont leave any food out, but obviously that isnt working. They are extremely fast little critters. If I dont grab them the second they appear I end up chasing them around the kitchen. The other night I saw one on the counter so I yelled for Josh to come and kill it. By the time Josh got into the kitchen the cocroach had crawled into the oven. Josh laughed cuz I was so mad that it had got away before we were able to kill it, he didnt understand why I just didnt kill it when I saw it. He's right, I probably should have killed it then, but it was the second one I had seen that day and I was just so angry about it being there. So to take revenge on the cocroach, I turned the oven on to 500 degrees. I hope it burned up in there.

Its been a pretty boring week so far. I spent a few days at the not so good mall(comparable to Fiesta-gross) looking for birthday and fathers day gifts, one day helping a friend make rolls, and the rest of the week i just ran errands or hung out at my apartment. Yesterday was probably the most eventful day because I had to pick Christie up from the airport, and once again we got lost on our way home. We always somehow find our way into downtown DC during rush hour. A trip that should have only taken about 45 minutes took close to two and a half hours. It was great sight seeing though! Yesterday I finally broke down and bought a tv. I just couldn't stand not being able to watch "So you think you can Dance"- especially now that I found out Benji was Mormon! For some reason it always makes it more exciting when a Mormon is involved. When we plugged the tv in we didnt have any channels so Josh made an antenna out of a hanger and now we get a few channels- kinda white trash, but it works! Anyway, I think some of us girls are going to go to the public pool today! It should be fun. Its nothing like The Point where the family is swimming today, but i guess it will do.
