Kitty Cat

Our puppy, Hugo was barking relentlessly a month ago, we were wondering what had happen to him. Has he finally found the masculine in himself?

It's not until 1 day that we found that a pregnant cat has been coming in and out of our house trying to find a place to deliver her kittens!

This is the second time a cat has delivered kittens in our storeroom, it happened once when I think i was 7 or 8 years old. 3 kittens were born without our knowledge of them. and mom kept meowing at the backdoor until we realise that there were kittens in our storeroom, we brought the kittens out and left it at the kitchen with the door open so that the mom can come and pick them up, we even feed them milk but too bad one of them died.

Could this be the same cat who were born 10 years ago and came back to deliver her kittens?

The mom wasn't too happy of me taking pictures of her kits

My naughty little dog just won't stop barking but the cats never give a damn of him. he just barks and the cat just slept there. My dog sucks.

By the way, invested some money on my house number but all went to the boiling soup.

Guess I just don't have the luck.

Hai Chap's Birthday @ Decanter, 1 December 2007

Once again, the gang gathered at Decanter, Hartamas to celebrate Wai Keong’s 27th birthday. The limelight was supposed to be solely on Wai Keong but it ended up on a free for all alcohol fight – many end up going home drunk. We ordered around 20 jugs of beer (Decanter is offering a promotion of buy 5 jugs free 1 jug!) and loads of finger food.

As usual, we ordered Wai Keong a Flaming Lamborghini. However, the first round of Flaming Lamborghini didn’t come in a tower. Wai Keong, dissatisfied, screamed, “I WANT FLAMING LAMBORGHINI IN A TOWER!!”. Within minutes, a nice Flaming Lamborghini was served on the bar table.

Despite being bombarded with 2 flaming Lamborghini and a glass of deadly Graveyard, Wai Keong was still standing at 3am. However, he vomited couple of rounds on a stranger’s car. HEHE.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Venue : USJ 11 Playground

Amigos left it late and grinded out their first ever 1-0 game in tough , windy and sandy conditions courtesy of Zainal, scoring on his debut appearance.

Arrival was late as usual but to Amigos horror, the pitch was filled with soft beach sand at the middle, patchy grass at the sides and an uneven and hard surface. Balls going out of the touch would drop into a drain, etc. It reminds you of the days when we used to play at the playground barefooted. However, with all due respect, we all played under the same conditions.

Chances were few throughout 3 halves for either side. Both teams only had half-chances as breaking through was tough given the pitch's challenges. The best chance probably came to Keat Nam whose attempted lob over the keeper when he raced through Zainal's neat headed flick, was strongly parried away by VI's outstanding keeper.

Amigos breakthrough came off a set-piece deep into the 3rd half. Ice Box delivered an underhit corner into a dangerous area which was partially cleared by the defender to Khai Fei who chested it down and half-volleyed only to be blocked by the post defender. However, the block felled to Zainal who shot it first time but was parried back to him by the goalkeeper , which then he made no mistake thumping it home 2nd time. The ball went through the net by the way. Sheer power or bad net you think ?

Amigos ended up with 10 outfield players as we had only one sub but two injuries.

Overall , it was a solid performance by Amigos with debutant, Alvin (formerly United FC) providing a Carragher-like performance at the middle of defense which saw our keepers hardly troubled. It wasn't the most satisfying game probably due to the pitch which didn't allow Amigos usual "slick" passing ? haha . . but it was risky as well as the uneven pitch made the players ankle injury prone.

Final Score : 1 - 0
Amigos scorer(s) : Zainal

No post-match comments available as most of us were rushing back for dinners, weddings , etc.

However, just a note for this weekend's events, VI guys wants a re-match ! Didn't think it would come so soon, but guys, please do join us as it seems we are short-handed. Leave your girlfriend or so aside, (c'mon guys, even daddy's with newborns can make it) for just 3 hrs of some guys stuff.

Later after the match, we can have beers at Decanter's in conjunction with Wai Keong's 27th birthday. Don't miss it too as we try and raise our left or right hand to salute who to drink. . . .

Finally, if you are in Mid-Valley between 10am ~ 6pm on 30th Nov ~ 2nd Dec, please do not miss the Asia Spa and Wellness Festival happening at the MVEC Exhibition Centre and lend your support to Kui Ming Relaxology, a participant there. Great offers and prices awaits you there . . . .

ENGLAND CRASHED OUT OF EURO!!!!!

Sorry Crouch, even your strike could not save England. (courtesy of uk.eurosport.yahoo.com)

YEY!!!!! sorry england fans...i really do think they do not deserve this time. yes, they do have the talent but sometimes i felt that they are highly over rated, thanks to the medias. English premier league is exciting to watch but not the english team. Its just funny how crazy football fans are when they are willing to sell their soul to the demon just to watch English team qualify. ive read this somewhere on the net, that this rich english fan offered a merc to the Isreal's winning goal scorer, Barda!! but due to the sportmanship, Mr Barda didnt accept the gift. Then on the counter, some Russians fan offered 5 merc to 5 Croatian players if they beat England at wembley. What has football become? a DRAMA SERIES? just like WWF? hahhahaa....i dont know. its just too much to grasp at the moment. but great entertainment for sure!

Khai Bei's 25th Birthday!

I can’t remember when we celebrated Khai Fei’s birthday. But this year is definitely a year to be remembered. Hen, Ping, Kiang, Wai Keong & Gf, Him & Gf, Timothy and I gathered at Decanter, Hartamas to celebrate Khai Fei’s 26th birthday. He’s finally in his late 20s. Welcome to the club mate.

Decanter is a small pub located in Hartamas. It’s smoky, dark, noisy and full of kids. Nevertheless, this place seems to be our usual hangout spot.

We started off with some beers and ended with a lot of beers and managed to slot in a flaming Lamborghini for Khai Fei. The flaming lambo was served at the bar table. KF was reluctant to go initially but after repeated persuasion, he gave in and finished the flaming in one gulp!

Throughout the night, we played drinking games. Wai Keong and Hen were the target of the night. But some went down as casualty as they were caught in the crossfire.

Ping hou lan bei aah!

We ended the night at Devi’s corner. After couple of drinks, the font of the shop’s signboard read as Doris Corner.

Kiang (to Hen): Eh Doris is your former maid’s name right?

..

Kiang (Imitating Hen): Doris! Where’s my food!!?? Doris where my basketball???
Hen: Doris is my mother’s name la!!!
Me: AHAHHAHAHAH!!

Supper @ Doris's corner

Haichap!

Hen also ordered a shisa. The shisa was mannered by a different stall

Hen: ada apa flavour?? (what flavour do you have?)
Guy: apa flavour pun ada! (We have all sorts of flavour)
Hen: Durian ada?? (you got Durian flavour??)
Guy: tak adaaa (We don’t have it)
Hen: Ganja ada??? (You got Ganja???)
Guy: tak adaaaa (DONNTT HAVEEE ITTT)

Hen settled for apple.

We shisa was shared among the gang. But after WK slotted the tube into his nose, some of us were reluctant to smoke it.

We went home around 4am. It’s been a while since we hung out that long. We should do it more often :P

Venue : Bank Pertanian Estadio

Amigos got an unlucky break when Jinhan torn some knee ligaments during our warm-up session and could not proceed with the match. He should recover in 2 - 3 days. Chor Teck did a "rafa benitez" by tinkering the starting line-up again but this time, it worked OK with OG, fortunately stealing a draw at the final whistle.

Amigos started off slowly as OG scored in the first 5 mins through their lightning-quick striker when he beat the offside trap and slot the ball home through a desperate defense. Amigos responded well by pushing and equalising through our lone striker, Dai Tau Ha. An OG defender's attempt to control an out-swinging corner for clearance was chested nicely to Dai Tau Ha instead to volley it home first time. Amigos went in front before the half when Dai Tau Ha controlled brillantly off a wonderfully floated free-kick just inside the middle penalty box, held off a defender and coolly slotting the ball home. 1st half ended 2 - 1.

2nd half started with a couple of first-timers, Ah Wai and Square, and they did a marvellous job throughout. Eventhough Ah Wai lasted only 10 - 15 minutes, he made significant interceptions and won a couple of tackles and balls from quicker opposition. Square likewise, was solid on left-back.

It was pretty much the same during the half, with OG contented to hit us on counter-attacks as did not have reserves in their squad. Amigos however extended the lead off a good build-up with some neat exchanges in midfield, which opened up the spaces for Dai Tau Ha to take the ball pass a defender and lofting the ball over the advancing keeper. Minutes later, Wai Choong won a penalty ! The eventual vital spot-kick was offered to Chor Teck , our keeper on the 2nd half. However, he failed to convert. Credit to the keeper as well for saving the on-target spot-kick. OG pulled one back before the half ended when a shot when through our keeper's legs. 2nd half ended 3 - 2.

3rd half resumed with Amigos controlling, but as per the same old stories , could not convert their possessions to goals. In fact, OG equalised first, off a good solo goal when their striker passed 2-3 back-pedalling defenders and finally scoring the goal from the advancing Ah Wai , our 3rd half keeper. Amigos was fortunate not to fall behind as a goal-bound shot passed Ah Wai outside the penalty box but was well chased down and cleared by Theam few inches from the line. Amigos further rode their fortunes again, when a mis-com between OG's keeper and defender resulted in another Amigos goal when the defender headed the ball into his own net when the keeper was cleared to collect the ball. Honours were even in the end when OG scored again through a chip shot with almost the final kick of the game. However, there was suspicion of un-sportsmanlike-conduct as our players was down cramping but OG ignorantly resumed play and got the equalising goal.

Final Score : 4 - 4
OG scorer(s) : Dark fast striker always on the wing (3), Low (1) <--their very own
Amigos scorer(s) : Dai Tau Ha (3) OG - O.G (1) What a coincidence !

Chor Teck was happy with the performances of everyone especially to the new debutants like Square, Ben and Waterleg. " I feel there are some room for improvement but I very much welcome these new players and you have shown that you have the potential and look forward to further progress". Encouraging words.

****
From the author himself truly, I really think we all should start practising on our technical abilities. Simple pass, stop , etc and especially throw-ins mates. I have been guilty myself. No more should playmakers, not only having to make the plays and but to throw the ball in as well from the touchline ?! All should know how to throw as at times, we miss out on great counter-attacking opportunities as we need to wait for the person who knows how to put the ball in play to come over the touchline from 30 - 40 yards. As such, it's time we learn to freakin' throw the ball until we get it right , haha. Whoever's nearest to the ball , throws the ball !

Honestly , the shooting warm ups should really reduce. How many times will you actually get a chance to shoot like that in a match ? Its the passes, controlling of the ball , footwork which dominates most of the match. (and the running of course but that's gameplan , strategies when it comes to moving with and without the ball) Goalies' abilities on goal-kicks, blocking / catching looping shots (feet back-pedalling quick enough to push the ball away).

Quit Smoke

For all my smoking brothers, please read here.

and I would like to stress it again

IT IS NOT TOUGH TO QUIT
AT ALL.

I quitted at 20 a day too. No trauma. No pain.
What say you?

5.8Kg

Baby weighs 5.8kG now. Carrying her is like carrying a dumb bell, and I have to walk. Stand or sit the bugger will scream. I can feel my back now after carrying her through last night. Think she's got tummyache. Couldn't stop complaining.

Her doctor gave her the ultimate jab last weekend, immune for 7 7 49 types of sickness and stuff. God knows what them doctors put in our child, it's for her good anyway. Fever was expected after the jab but she didn't feel unwell at all, played through the afternoon and slept through the night.

The breast milk did her some good I guess, she's gonna be strong like me and tall like her mummy, I hope she doesn't get my tummy.

And I'll be the shortest in my little family.

Damn!

My Dream Car

The Golf GTi.
4 cylinder turbocharged 2 litre engine.
Just look at the curves man.
Definitely gonna get it
