After slacking at home for 2 months ++ ... I have finally found a company that is willing to take me in...haha, it's not TECH semiconductor or SAF (AEO/ MEO/ NEO) haha...After going through 2 interviews within a week, I am on board of the vessel "Hewlett Packard"...Had my first interview on last wednesday, then got a call from them on last thursday to go for 2nd round of interview on this wednesday...Didn't expect them to reply me on the same day of the interview evening that I am selected for the job...Was quite surprised that I managed to beat other applicants (heard from the interviewer that there are a few more others but he only choose 1 to join the department...so I also didn't expect too much from myself or from the interviews) Went down for the signing of the contract on thursday afternoon and I asked a few silly questions that made the HR lady giggled..haha, those qns were really silly and I shall not disclose them here in case kena suan till jialat jialat by u guys out there hahaha... =P Then called kwans out to go Tg Bahru plaza to see handphones...cos he needs to get a new one since his present phone is already 1/2 dead...Still go ahead with kwans with the shopping even though my ankle still hurts and still need to bandage tightly before I can walk...Probably it's becos I was in a good mood then, that's why didn't really bother about the pain...hehehe...then when I got home, had a chit chat session with my parents and sis...didn't realise time can pass so quickly while chatting hahaha...by the time we stop chatting...it was about 10pm loh~!! Wa...=P
Oh ya...I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to kunning for his empathy and to say sorry to those frens out there (regardless of those who can access my blog or not) for postphoning the schedule for spiderman 2 to next monday...kunning called me up on Mon evening to check with me if I can make it for the movie on Tue...My ankle was still in a very bad condition, and I have to make plans for Wed also (cos I was scheduled to have my 2nd interview on wed..so I would like to rest my aching ankle more), so I told kunning that I can't make it and if the rest of the guys were fine with the time, they should go ahead without me as I dun want to "splash cold water" on the rest of the guys...Didn't realise that kunning actually postphoned the date to next monday cos he also didn't tell me..hehe, I got to know through another guy...I guess his decision more or less had invited some questions or arguements as to why there's a need to change the day of the movie...(hehe, can understand la, the guys shud be eager to watch since the papers rated the show as 5 stars leh~!! hehe)...Therefore, sorry guys...I am the one tt caused the delay... =( & thanx a lot to kunning for your empathy...really appreciate your "Escretia" (hahaha..cannot remember the spelling of the word liao la...hope u guys can remember what this word means...if not can go flip your EG1402 LAW lecture notes under "Contract law" ya hahahaha)
Okie, time to go off...going to the commencement party later...haha...will be limping there...alamak...so pathetic...i think i m the first person to limp to a party hahaha... =P

Hmm...haven update my blog for some time again...haha, realised that I prefer reading others' blog than writing my own...ok, since I am uploading my photos into Meepokman's homepage...I shall put what happened for the past few weeks into my blog ^_^
Just had my convocation on 11-07-2004 in the morning 10am...had mix feelings...At a moment, I was feeling great cos my student life had finally come to an end...on the other hand, I would definitely miss this kind of life...though I had to meet a lot of project n assignment datelines and to handle the exams (80% of the time I duno what am i writing on my exams script..haha..maybe tt explains why I am a 2nd lower class =P hehehe) BUT I think the life of a working adult would be even more stressful and of cos needless to say...less time to slack and enjoy hahaha ... (I will miss slacking n playing when i start work..erm..IF I am able to find a job la...kaoz...). Sitting in UCC...a surge of excitment filled me...but also a sense of disappointment engulfed me...excited is becos the moment tt my parents have been waiting for has finally come..To see me put on the graduation gown and walk up the stage to receive my degree...but disappointment is becos i din manage to get a 2nd upper...but life still goes on...the class of honours does not determine one's achievement in life or career...just have to put in more effort to find a suitable job and try to exel...Hehe...another thing which I will not forget about my commencement is...every guy one tt day was wearing their nicely polished leather shoe...I wore a pair of combat boots~!! haha..cos i sprained my right ankle damn badly on Friday bball session...sigh I think i very suay la...played for only 5 mins n haven even perspired...then i think i landed badly and hear a loud "CRACK" sound...tt's it...gone case liao..It hurts a lot till I gotta moan..cos I can't tahan the pain at tt moment...the rest of the pple helped me to compress n applied ice..but doesn't seem to work...in the end gotta call a cab home cos it was raining...Was so worried tt I couldn't make it for convocation on Sun...Went to see a "metal hit" shi fu on Sat morning...can't walk..can't even limp!!! gotta use an umbrella to support myself...with the help of my sis, we took a cab to the clinic...haha...n u know what? the clinic is on the 2nd storey~!!!!! oh my f***ing god~!!! I didn't know how I managed to get up n down the stairs at tt time man...din realise climbing stairs can be that tough...haha...On sat night...I rehearsed a bit of walking to ensure that I look normal on stage ... and luckily my effort paid off haha...frens told me tt I looked like I didn't have any sprain at all~!! and they thought my ankle had recovered hehehee....yeah ...at least I didn't leave a funny and embarassing memory for myself or even the 2004 class..haha..to see a fella limping up the stage to get his degree is really quite comical eh ... =P
And also becos of my injury..I got engaged in a heated arguement with a tuition agency..becos I had earlier agreed to take up an assignment from them to be a relief teacher in Siglap Secondary school to be a Design n Technology teacher starting on 12th july...but due to my injury..I had decided to drop the job cos it is going to take weeks before I can recover since the nature of the job is to stand and teach and to walk around in the school campus. The agent wanted me to submit a doctor's letter else they will take it as a willful breaking of a promise to the agency and I would have to pay the originally agreed commission to them, which is S$400 (cos my monthly pay is S$800, hence they will get S$400 as commission for the 1st month..WOW jus by making a phont call they can get so much...no wonder a lot of pple wana be agents la...) then after faxing to them..the agent said she will try to help me talk to the boss to see if i need to pay them the commission or not...this put me off...quarrelled with them and the agent told me tt if I were to threaten her like tt, she would jus dump my case one side and let me bear the S$400 responsibility...kaoz..what a way to threaten me~!!! To prevent more heated arguement, I asked her when I could get a reply..she only said tt if I dun get any calls from her, tt means I am ok, if I get..that means I gotta pay...This incident occurred on Mon..so far haven got any calls from them n I dun wish to get anymore from them...kaoz...those faggot agents...I would not go to agents anymore...come to think of it..how do the agents help u look for tuition jobs? they also put up notices n slot into other pple's post boxes loh...why cant I do it either? then no need to let them get commission also...what have they deserved to get so much commission when they are only making phone calls and we are the ones doing the labour? If they can find clients this way...I can also...NEVER TRUST AGENTS~!!!!!! unless u have no choice cos tt product or thing gotta be handled thru an agent..then tt's L L loh...Cos most of the time they only CARE ABT $$$ when they realise tt money is slipping thru their fingers, they dun show any empathy even ur case is a genuine injury...those ill-breed ones...kaoz
