Hey all! So, here it is. The ending of my freshman year at Kent State. It's so crazy that I'm all ready one year done. Where did the year go?! So what's been going on lately? School. I've had to write two papers, and study for a huge math exam! Finals week is going to be completely crazy! It's also really sad because I'm leaving here. I'm leaving my roomie and my nnew friends :[ I'm really going to miss everyone and especially the ELC. Studying is starting to take up my life, but that's the price I have to pay to do well :]
More blogs to come! :]

What a weekend!
Well blogging world, I have lots to talk about. This last week, I've been doing nothing but studying. But that all paid off because I found out my math exam grade! I did really well on it, and I'm glad. I'm doing really well in that class, and it takes a load off because all of my other classes are tough. Well, this weekend was probably the most fun I've had since Spring Break. Since we're so close to Cleveland, and my room mate, Anthony, and Joe all love the Indians, we decided to go see an Indians game! One word: AWESOME!!! However, it was soooooo cold and rainy. But it was still a really good time. My room mate and I made a sign at the stadium (for FREE) and got our picture taken at the stadium with it.

In case you can't read the sign, it say "Kent State Girls LOVE GRADY Come to Kent State and get some lunch!" That's kind of an inside joke with the two of us. :]
Another thing that made the game really fun was where we sat. We sat in the bleachers, and if the Indians or the A's had actually hit a hit into the outfield we definitly could have been seen. We were so close to Grady Sizemore, aka the love of my life.
Well, it's time for me to get studying :[

This City Never Sleeps
What a spring break! New York City can be summed up in just a few words; Amazing, busy, incredible, and expensive! As I have said, my boyfriend Anthony got me tickets to go see Wicked on Broadway. The musical was absolutely amazing, and we had an adventure just walking around the city.
Here is the Statue of Liberty. That was the first thing we did when we got to NYC. We got to go inside the Statue, and took some amazing pictures of Ellis Island and the skyline of the city.
We had to take a ferry over, and to me it felt just like I was an immigrant coming to the US for the first time. It was a cool feeling.
Here's a picture of me and Ellis Island.
Another thing that was really cool was Times Square. It was totally caotic, but so much fun! There were so many people, and so many things to look at. One of those things being SAMUEL L. JACKSON!
I'm just kidding :-). That's the wax figure of him. We were going to go into Madame T's, which is a wax celebrity museum kind of thing. It was way too expensive for two college kids though.
Here's a picture of Times Square.
On Tuesday, we went to Central Park and the Guggenhiem. Both were really cool. Central Park is huge. You wouldn't believe just how big it is. We got so lost in it. We were literally in that park for two hours, and we couldn't find our way out. We were going to go to the zoo, but there just wasn't enough time. Here's me in Central Park. My room mate said that that rock was in Sex and the City. I felt really cool :-)
Wednesday, which was also our last day in the NYC, we went to the Empire State Building. The forcast for We
The last thing that we did was go see WICKED! It was amazing. I cried for no reason. We were 7 rows
back, so that might have been the reason. It was so good. The whole cast was amazing and right on with everything. We were so close that I saw things that I had never seen before, and I had seen it 2 other times. It was ama
zing, no other way to put it. It's one of those once and a lifetime things, one that will give me chills for as long as I can remember.
All amazing things have to end, sadly. On Thursday, we headed back to Ohio (which by the way was 10 hours back to my hometown). However, my niece Sadie was there :-) It was so nice to see her because I have not seen her once since she was born. She's beautiful. She could make anyone wish that they had a baby :-)
Now that it's Monday, I'm back to reality, and I have a ton of homework. Why can't it always be Spring Break?! :-p
I'll post later!
Bye!

Just another manic Monday
Hello all! So, after another fun weekend, classes have started yet again. This weekend I went shopping with my boyfriend, my roommate, and her boyfriend to Chapel Hill. We're all going somewhere for Spring Break, so shopping for new clothes is a must. My boyfriend and I are both shopping for a more sophisticated look, seeing as we are going to New York City. I needed to find a nice outfit for Broadway because for Christmas, Anthony got me tickets to go see my favorite musical Wicked on Broadway! I'm so excited. I had a history exam today, and I'm now realizing how ready I am for Spring Break.
Off to study some more. Math exam and map quiz Wednesday.
Talk to you all later!!!

Hello Blogging Public
Hello blogging world. This is my first blog, so let me start by telling you a little about myself.
My name is Jillian, but I prefer to be called Jill. Jillian makes me sound too old. I'm 19 years old and am from Marion, Ohio. It's ok if you don't know where it is, not a lot of people do. I went to Pleasant High School, and graduated in a class of about 110 . I am now in my second semester as a freshman at Kent State University. I am majoring in Early Childhood Education, and I can't imagine being in any other major. I am the youngest of three, and the only girl. I have a dog named Jazz and a fish that lives in my dorm name Picaso. I love music and reading. I think that in order to love life, you need to make as many friends as possible. I have a boyfriend of 9 months, and he also attends Kent.
Oh, and I can't forget my pride and joys. I am the proud Aunt of Henry, Sadie, and Gordo (Gordo has yet to be born, but give it a week or so). They are the most beautiful babies, and I love having them in my life.
Well, since you know me a little better, the blogs from now on won't be as boring :]
