Reasons for not updating this space for "X" period of time:

1. I've used up all the free space to upload pico here.

2. I'm busy with UOL Degree Course - bridging classes till May.

3. I've yet to decide where and how to move to a new spot for blogging.

4. Working asia hours 10am - 7pm is tiring and I don't feel like going online after work, except random facebook-ing via iPhone.

Till then when I've gotten the time, I will do something about it and this will be updated.

Don't miss me!

DearBoy is an engineer by profession.

Compare Other Professionals To Engineers When Choosing A Mate
Joke Posted on February 8, 2010 1 Comment

=> DOCTORS
Supposedly, all women are after a Doctor, so don’t expect your relationship to last more than 5 years. Eventually, he’ll run off with some nurse from his office, or one of his young women patients that is pretending to be sick. He’ll wait until you are stuck with a few kids to do this. This is not a problem with your Engineer husband. He had a hard enough time meeting you. It is unlikely he’ll ever meet another woman in his profession.

=> LAWYER
Do You seriously expect an honest, trusting relationship with someone who gets paid for lying? Once again, this is not a problem with your Engineer spouse. He doesn’t have enough social skills to lie convincingly. An additional drawback to marrying a lawyer is when the divorce happens you will get nothing.

=> SALESMAN
See honesty segment under Lawyer. Plus, he will be traveling to trade shows, etc. where he will be in the company of other equally trustworthy individuals. Don’t be surprised when you get the invitation to show up on the Ricki Lake show. The company that your Engineer husband works at will keep him in a cage, often called a cubicle, until he is ready to go home to you.

=> HAZARDOUS PROFESSIONS, I.E. POLICE OFFICER, FIREFIGHTER, CONSTRUCTION WORKER, ETC.Your husband, if he is not dead by some accident, will likely be crippled with a back injury, etc. just about the time you are at your sexual peak. The only hazards that your Engineer husband will face is losing his eyesight by staring at the terminal for too long. This hazard actually has some benefits. For one, he will not notice that you are getting older, since you will be a blur. He will remember you as when he first met you, because the memory will still be sharp, and you ask “Honey, were you looking at her?”, he’ll honestly be able to say that he didn’t even see her.

=> TEACHER
The only reason he entered this profession is so that he could be surrounded by newly post-pubescent girls who idolize him. He’ll be in jail soon, and then you’ll have to look for another man.

Lol! I should feel happy, isn't it?

Xin Nian Kuai Le Day 3

Theresa and family came over to my place in the morning...

Long story to how I know Theresa...
I was 17 years old and needed a part time job then.
Theresa, who is my father's godsister (for I dont know why), introduced me to Planet Telecoms and I worked for close to a year before I start my diploma schooling...

And since then, every CNY, we will be going to Boss' place to "bai nian".

Baby Jayvier and my mummy, he looks so cute lah!

And he was busy swallowing his saliva as he looked on to the table of CNY goodies.

Went over to Annie's house at Ang Mo Kio for the mass gathering..

Me and some of the kids...

Everyone who gave me an ang pow that day was reminding me,
"Quick get married and give my kids an ang pow!" Lol.

Ran around with those kids, Blackjack a bit...

Pico taken before I left the place for work...
Theresa, Jayvier, Jayden, ME, Annie...

First day at work in the Tiger year, totally turn-off!
EEKS.

A transformer THUMBDRIVE!!! Belonging to Claudine..

Beer, red wine and champagne.....
Plus bit of blackjack gambling, of course!
The night was great fun!

Pico of just the ladies - Angela, Claudine, Geraldine and ME

Thanks for the invitation, PK! :)

Xin Nian Kuai Le Day 2

Started the day early by going to maternal grandparents' place for lunch.

Mummy and ME, at the bus interchange waiting for the bus to come...

Sisters - Jessica and Zhuangyi

The 4th generation - my niece and nephew brought joy to everyone.
Yes yes, great fun playing with them!

Me and Elise, who is not very willing to take the pico.. *fake smile*

Cheeky Chester, aiming the candies box...
He has the look of a Dragon Descendent~

Walked over to third uncle house nearby -- house visiting for an hour...

Babe for the day - Elise Goh Kai Qi~

Chester and Jessica, red for prosperity!

Elise, for her age, is a drama queen!
She can play my iPhone game - Bubblewrap - and halfyway through the game,
"OUCH! It pops on my finger!"

And also, super vain! Me like! Haha!
Can bring her out shopping with great fun!
She can tell you if she thinks the clothes are nice-looking or not...
Haha!

The whole afternoon busy with mahjong and black jack.
Wahaha! CNY = Season to gamble!

Home-cooked dinner, all thanks to Ah Ma and the 2nd generation ladies..

Just food, no description...

Lao Yu Sheng
~ lao for a better year, huat ah!

Papa-Paparazzi~!!!

End result: A messy table with the ingredients properly mixed, yummy!

Xin Nian Kuai Le!

First day of CNY, started late due to lack of sleep....

My new dress and accessories~

Meet my family members..... excluding Daddy...

Elder sister Jessica

Younger sister Zhuangyi

Mummy

Huat huat Tiger Year!
More more more money!

Steamboat is supposedly the most common meal during CNY.
Convenient and easy to prepare...

Everyone's plastic bowl for the dinner
Plus 3 scallop and 2 abalone slices, yummy!

Boil boil boil!

The kids' table...

Gambled blackjack after dinner till about 9 plus...

Second uncle drove us home after that...

And my younger sister and I went to friend's house for mahjong again...
This time round, I'm the biggest loser on the table :(

Never mind!
There are 15 days for CNY, sufficient time for me to recoup my losses!
Wish me luck~!
