I looked obliquely from the glisten of oncoming headlights and turn my head clockwise and counterclockwise to stay awake. It’s quarter to 12 midnight when I checked my phone’s clock. I already felt tired, dizzy and sleepy but managed to open my eyes because something was bothering me inside. Those insulting words from the mouth of one my neighbors a while ago caused me emotional attacks and stressed me that much, up to this hour. I was hurt and pissed off when he spread such gossip to our community that even I am once a topnotch student in school and an Electronics Engineering Technology graduate, all these were useless because he described me as a lazy and unemployed individual in the real world. He even seconded that I am also a stubborn person because I always resign from the jobs I got hired. 


Anyways, I heard those harsh insults against me as I walked away from the store holding a plastic of soda. I am starting to hate that neighbor who criticized and insulted me in front of others! Anger was building me inside together with frustrations and hatred but in the end I still remained silent as I passed by the boulevard.

So at this point, revenge is what my mind speaks because I am so mad of what he alleged. But seeing and understanding the different angles on the situation, I come to realize not to do so, because it will only get worse if I will pursue vengeance. And I guess that person lacks empathy training in his life because he doesn’t even understand the feelings of others and to treat people with amiability. I remember one of my life principles that centers on how to handle criticisms - if criticisms are true, always learn from them but if criticisms are false, simply ignore them. Feeling pain is a huge thing, but retaliation often backfires.

So I decided to neglect all those words he uttered in contrary to me because I know in myself those were untrue and that I am happily earning online even I rent a computer in an internet café. But that was before, now I am so blissful because I already have the Lenovo net book of my brother that was laid away in a pawnshop few months ago. Actually I used my savings to get it and this would be the start of my new journey - making money online. But to do this, to have my personal broadband connection is a must.

A Sweet Surprise

Now that I ended my pilgrimage through college last August 2010, I find myself reminiscing my memories I had at Technological University of the Philippines - Visayas. As I look back on my past, I realized that I do actually have this small passion that have shaped the person I am today and that is to bequeath importance to the things given by my loved ones. 

It was February 2010, when I was already at home after my sudden resignation at Toyota Autoparts Philippines. Despite of the disappointment I made my family feel of what had happened to me in Laguna, a sweet surprise was endowed by my elder brother to me and that was a pair of Havaianas slippers. 
I am so speechless because I never expect it. He reasoned out that it was his gift, a delayed gift to me when I received those certificate of recognitions from the provincial government. Even I told him that my graduation status was at stake at that time, he still supported my decision because he knew that I am already risking my health on my training. And with that I hugged him afterward as a symbol for being thankful of having an elder brother like him.

Well, that was the sweetest thing someone did for me in 2010 - a sweet surprise gift  from my elder brother despite of the disappointment I brought from Laguna to my family.

Anyways, when I stated that I am passionate of bequeathing importance to the things given by my loved ones, I am not saying that I just loved to be the "receiver" all the time. In fact it is in giving that I connect with others. My reason for giving importance to the things given to me is to let them feel that I appreciate their gifts and I will be forever thankful for them.

Like all passions, mine is not that unique because lots of people are having same passion as mine. But somehow, what I wanted is I will make use of this "passion" as a tool when finding friends. For I stand, in our journey through life can be confusing and complicated sometimes and having friends with the same passion can be helpful in those bad situations.

Not Seeing Is Believing

Indeed, this is the most significant event happened to me in year 2010 -  to face a tough situation yet still I handled it well because I have no regrets on what I have decided. -Jhiegzh

One of the greatest things we have is the freedom of choice. We have the ability to reason and choose what is best for us.  We climb up through the regimented system with a little optimism for a decision-making. The only constraint to make a choice is the challenge of the decision situation when you are bombarded with conditions that need a very grave and rapid decisions. And with this incident, it points out to a very common source of tension which is to face the consequences of the choice we've made.  

Being a provincial scholar as well a city scholar, is really frustrating  because I need to maintain my grades every term. And YES! I surpassed all those nosebleed examinations and time-consuming projects for I successfully passed all my academics.
But unfortunately...

It was on the 20th of January 2010, the day I resigned at Toyota Autoparts Philippines Inc., the company I am assigned to undergo my Supervised Industrial Training III. Actually to undergo this 20-week training is very important to a junior TUP-Visayas student like me because it’s the final requirement for graduation. 



I am assigned in RTM Die Casting Section wherein I am a machine and furnace operator. From the very start, I am really new to it, because it’s more on mechanical and automotive works, and I am an Electronics Engineering Tech student. But somehow I am thankful because I was able to learn something new. 

But as days go by, I have this strange feeling that I can’t make it because I am not feeling well every time I am in my working environment. I got breathing problems in my work, I can’t breathe normally even I wore safety gadgets like hard cap, arm bond, safety glass, safety gloves, safety shoes and ear protection for noise! I called my family through phone about it and I can feel they’re worried about me but still they encouraged me to go on and finish what I have started.

The night before my resignation, I came up to a point that I really need to pursue my training. That's why I prayed to God that whatever happens, it is His own will why I am experiencing this right now. And yes! I conquer this fear for I slept well on that night, not being so stressed about my work.

On the next day, I felt opposite what I thought that night because I felt hard again in breathing at work. This time I can’t resist it so I immediately went to my supervisor and open it up my condition. He suddenly requested me to go to the HR Office for an explanation about my condition. Actually, it was not my intention to resign but it was the only option given by the HR to me so I accepted it. So by that time I faced the consequences of my decision and that is to go back to Negros and attend a hearing for disciplinary action and worst I cannot graduate, told by my training officer.
"If you would asked me why I decided to quit and accept the resignation, all I could say was that it seemed like the best idea to me because I am already risking my health on my work."
It was on the 24th of January, when I arrived in Negros. After a month of waiting I am so happy that my training officer called me and informed me that no hearing will happen and I can pursue my training through self-endorsement.  And yes, I able to continue my training at San Carlos Telephone System - Negros Incorporated being a student-technician. And by God's grace I was able to finish my training, received my training certificate and graduated last August 2010. 


We may not be faced with exactly the same lifestyle decisions, but we do face decisions each day, some of them may be pretty tough. On my own above-mentioned experience, I clearly realized that even I can't see the purpose why God want me to be on that situation doesn't mean that it doesn't exist. This realization bequeaths me awe-inspiring hope. It reminds me that we need to fear the future only if we forget the evidence of God's leading in the past.

My Christmas Wish This Year: A Nokia C7

December 21, 2010 - 10:15pm: I squinted from the glare of oncoming Christmas lights and shook my head to stay awake. I felt tired and sleepy and was questioning myself, Why I deserve a Nokia C7 this yuletide season?
I had to think. But instead of reasons, this "confession" thing played in my mind and I can't neglect it because this Nokia C7 made me reminisce something that happened just last month.  "Lord, do you really want me to be prayed over for my love for mobile phones?"

I am techie person, some of my wants in life is to have a communicating device. That's why at first I desired to just have a Nokia 1100 for texting and calling my loved ones.
"Well, that won't be difficult for someone who is receptive to new ideas. I guess you have to be on guard all the time and can't be caught unaware of things to come. You always have to be on the lookout for what is new because just when you thought technology is at its peak, there's more to come!" - Nina Ricci (Bb. Pilipinas 2000)
When my parents could afford to get one, I thought I could be content but I was wrong, for soon I wanted a Nokia C7 which is one of the latest phones of Nokia nowadays. I know its bit expensive but what I after from this mobile phone is its friendly features.

The Nokia C7 makes me easy to spend a whole lot of time checking my emails, updating my status across all my social networks and writing articles for my blog. I am also a music lover, that's why I am glad that this phone features mobile entertainment that includes making playlists for my favourite songs. Furthermore, this phone has a camera and video recorder which I can use when I am on a travel. And no doubt, this phone is far better from the Nokia 1100 bought by my parents.
And because of wanting this mobile phone, I was burdened wasting precious time thinking of ways to have it on my hand. I even thought that being rebellious was an appropriate role to force my parents to buy this stuff for me. And when I knew they won't, I experienced hotheadedness and irritation afterward, which I know is a bad act. 
After that incident, there were days when it seems as though the sky was falling and the earth was crumbling beneath my feet, I am still keeping my balance in the midst of this circumstance. Yes, I really still looking forward have this Nokia C7 on my hand without the aid of my parents. I took this as a challenge for myself.



But as days go by, I found myself wanting only the best. I don't know when it was that I realized that I was not just looking for an ordinary communicating device but I am seeking more on features to impress the people around me.

Yes! I was a mobile phone addict in every sense of the word. My foundation for doing good was my mobile phone, no longer the Lord - my weakness indeed.

But things changed drastically and I've had a taste of transformation when I joined and became a co-facilitator of Days With The Lord Movement. I reached out to this group of people and saw how content many of them with what they had, radically living simply to be one. They willingly shared their experiences, strengths and hopes with me and things got better. 


Haltingly and in a small voice, I started to "confess"  my weakness. I learned not to buy just anything that caught my fancy. From then on, I already know how to control this addiction of mine.

When I finished scribbling this post on a paper, I glanced at my Mom to see if she was asleep yet her eyes were bright while watching television. She did not feel drowsy as I did.
"Mom, is there any confession in the church during Christmas?", I asked.
"Yes, Why?", Mom uttered.
 I smiled at her as my response. 





So, as the time draws closer to the holiday season, I keep my fingers crossed to hear this phrase from Nuffnang family; "Wish granted!".

Updating 12 blog sites in a row is not a joke. For sure, it acquires patience, determination and willingness in one's self to accomplish these things triumphantly. Being optimistic matters as well. Since I am newbie in the blogosphere, this is really my first time to know a person with her own little ways have managed all those blogs. I salute LIZ for a job well done!





However, I am grateful to have this given opportunity by her in embracing back her blog: "Bloguardian Hellsite: Overcashed" reunited with  M3o. I have just fabricated a spirit of foresight ahead for a well-maintained blogs as well an amiable blog owner behind all of these. Anyway, lets again welcome back her blog with full of excitement and energy in ourselves. 

By the way, this is my answer for the "best part" content of BHO is Back! Time To Party! blog post interrogating:

Now that BHO is back, should I migrate it to WordPress while it is up? Why or Why not? This means I have to change domain as well, what will I do to BHO's PR4?
Anyway I prefer you to go for your self-hosted WordPress blog because it bequeaths you the sense of proprietorship. Self-hosting is always the best because you can do anything with it, you can control over everything (e.g. the flagging problem encountered in Blogger can't be done on your own web host) and its more powerful. Yes! I love the Blogger platform with its simplicity and clarity and of course its FREE but somehow WP has some attractions that Blogger can't match like uploading filesize which in Blogger has its limits. I know Blogger is simpler to use too specially in my case because I admit I still don't have that enough knowledge in tweaking HTML and CSS codes, that's why I entrust blog tutorials for adding widgets and customizing my template but in your case I think you already mastered it as proof for your 12 blog sites (shown below) so it will do you good to use WP to its full aptitude. 
About your BHO's PR4 you can still have it. All you got to do is to move all your posts or just pick those sensible entries for the new BHO WordPress with the aid of an importing tool. And left here is your BHO's blogger empty, which you can still manage through changing its title or category depending of what you want. In fact you can make this as your "for reviews" blog wherein its contents are exclusively for paid tasks alternate with your new category you have decided for this blog. I stand that having Page Rank 4 is already a big thing or even an achievement for other bloggers like me, thats why never junk this blog in fact I can see you got a lot of advertisements here, so it somehow helped you financially in little ways.
