Working on this sweet family this week....

This baby girl braved some pretty cold temps while we shot outside at the beginning of her session.  But, she managed to keep warm because she was a non-stop movin' little lady!  LOVE her little coat!

Okay!  These kids could be Gap models for sure!!  The oldest child was soaking up the attention in front of the camera.  He was such a delight!  Younger brother, wasn't as fond of me, but we still managed to get some good shots of him, too!  I'm loving the last one... it screams
"okay lady, let's get this over with already!"

ANOTHER POST. {UTAH CHILD PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER}

Okay, I'm all sorts of messed up from this stomach flu bug. First, I post the newborn post below and say that It's all I can do today cause I'm sick. THEN, I come across my son's photo session and start dinkering around with editing his photos. So I've decided to share a few...so, after this post, I REALLY am done for the day! Off to my jammies and some couch time.

SWEET LITTLE ALLISON. {UTAH CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER}

Again, here is an example of some fun shots that were taken AFTER the session was over. Seriously, DON'T put your camera away until your clients are in the car and GONE. You just never know what you might miss if you're camera isn't still hanging around your neck:)

These were some of my favorites of her and they were the LAST shots I took.

A SNEAK PEEK. {UTAH CHILD PHOTOGRAPHER}

Doesn't he look 6 going on 36 years old?!?! Just had to share one from tonight's session with my boy. We had a crazy fun time. I'll be posting a full post soon... you won't want to miss it!

This shot was one of the last photos of the night. He was pretty much DONE with me and my camera. So he sat back to watch the people passing by while I captured this image:)

NOTE: to mom's, photog's and well... photog moms:), NEVER put your camera away until you are in the car and driving away from the session. You don't want to miss a shot that may come out of nowhere when your child/client is at ease because you are "done" with pictures:)

FAMILY FUN. {UTAH FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER}

This is my oldest brother Seth and his sweet wife and daughter. I LOVE these people more than words can tell. Seth is a photographer, as well. He is a source of inspiration to me as an artist. I've always admired his creativity. I told him that I was a little intimidated to shoot HIS pictures. He just laughed and thought I was being silly. But REALLY, I hope you like these Seth, cause I know just how photo savvy you are!

In this session, we really tried to capture FUN moments. I think we got a great variety of images. They put up with my last-minute cheesy idea of the Coke bottles, even though they felt kind of nerdy doing it! We were originally going to have them sipping the coke from the bottles, but I forgot a bottle opener, so we just improvised:)
