Enclosed Trailer Conversion - to Camper

Purchased 12 foot Trailer for $3200!
Took down the previous owners storage box, and my sister turned it into a chicken coop.

Added some 1 inch insulation to the ceiling. Would have done the walls too if it wasn't such a chore to get the plywood off.

The fold down door doubles as a party deck!

Adding kids bunk beds to the front

Cutting out the tops for the beds

Jazmyn and cousin Rusty trying out the top bunk

Kenzie and cousin Rusty

Packed to go to Manti Utah complete with bicycles

Sleeping arrangements. We slept in until 8 am, weren't bothered by the noisy campers 10 feet away, and stayed cool enough with 80 degree night of sleeping!

Added a bug protector from a repurposed shelter wall

Home again, rearranging the cupboards

Fits the 10 foot paddle board and kayak well for boating fun time!
Bug screen "As seen on TV" works fair on side door as long as it's not too windy
Added a $10 microwave and a folding bed on the side for me
Folding bed doubles as a bench as well

Tree branch damage from windy night, patched it up for $30 and it's water tight again.

All in all, we've invested around $3,550 with upgrades and repairs. Since it's not too large, it tows well, easy to back into tight spaces, and works fantastic for our family of 5!

Fun with chairs!

We bought this Pottery Barn kids chair at a garage sale for $3
I later bought the checkered pink one at a second hand store. See bottom picture!

1st child decided that her blue chair needed sprucing up! She wanted pink so we bought this! First time using dye!

After a successful dye job I added more stuffing to the arms from an old body pillow!

And voila! Pink chair and #1 is happy! I'm pretty pleased how it turned out too! Must find another chair to do this do!

Happy campers!!
