Easter

I can't believe Easter has already come and gone!
Where does the time go!?

We spent Easter with my parents this year and we had a blast! The night before we left, Tanner and I made sugar cookies. It was my first attempt at making these by myself and with a Toddler so I was really in for it! Despite the issue of the ROCK hard cookie dough and sprinkles ALL OVER the kitchen, it went pretty well. As you can tell by the picture, Tanner really likes sugar cookies. Every time I turned around he took a bite out of a different cookie and he would say, "MMMMM".

Sunday morning I put Tan and Max in their new church outfits and before I could snap a picture, Max threw up on his shirt. We hurried off to church and attended the singles branch (since my dad is in the branch presidency) and like all other Sunday's that we visit, it's extremely quiet. With that said, it sounded like a nuclear explosion echoing throughout the chapel when Max decided to fill his diaper during the passing of the Sacrament. All eyes were on us, how embarrassing!!

Being Easter, we had to have an Easter Egg Hunt! Tanner got pretty good at finding the plastic eggs and putting them in his bag. I think he must have been thinking that he was picking up someone else's mess because whenever he spotted another egg, he would say "UH-OHHH" and quickly put it in his bag.

Happy Boy

Max is truly our happy boy. I didn't realize how different all children are until Max came along. Although Max and Tan look very much alike, they are very different. I'm learning quickly that they all come with their own, very unique personalities.

Max is always happy and always smiling... even in the wee hours of the night. I wake up every night to him singing and cooing. When I finally get strength to get out of bed, I reach into his crib and he greets me with a HUGE grin. (A grin so big, it looks like his cheeks are going to crack!) If you know me and how much I love my sleep, it's probably hard to imagine me smiling at 2:00am and again at 5:00am, but who could resist smiling back at this little boy!?

Anywho, here's a video I took of our happy boy a couple days ago. It's hard to believe, but he's already 4 months!

Happy Birthday to Turtle!

Turtle was our CRAZY, little, cute lemon beagle. He's 3 years old today, that is if his new owner hasn't strangled him yet. Jer and I got Turtle when we lived a quiet, boring life (before 2 kids that is). Two months after getting Turtle, I got pregnant with Tanner! Call me CRAZY, but I believe I owe the start of our family to this crazy little dog! He took my mind off of my troubles and worries... no joke. Unfortunately, once I got pregnant, it made me extremely nauseous to clean up after Turtle. Basically, I was cleaning up after Turtle, and Jeremy was cleaning up after me. Because of that, and Turtle's crazy temperment, we decided it was time to find him a new home. 2 1/2 years have gone by since I've seen Turtle and I still think of him as a part of our family. I get a little teary eyed thinking about what he did for me and my family! Happy Birthday Turtle!

Movie Review - VANTAGE POINT

RATING
Jeremy: ***
Missy: ***
(out of ****)

We were able to get a babysitter last weekend and actually go on a DATE! We went out to dinner and a movie. The movie was very entertaining. We definitely recommend it.

Girls, please remember to look at the sign on the door before entering the restroom. I was excited when I chose a stall with the seat up, thinking "Yeahhh, this toilet must have just been cleaned". But as I was rushing to wash my hands, I noticed I was standing beside a man! I tried hard not to stare or crack a smile, but I felt really bad for him and thought "This poor goof accidently went into the wrong restroom"... then as I exited, I realized it was me! I won't be doing that again!
