Farewell to Summer!

As summer closes, its nice to look back on all that was accomplished and fun times we had! And boy did we have a lot! From camping to boating to vacationing! We loved it all! Jeremy and I bought our first bought this summer...and we absolutely couldn't be happier! That is where we spent the majority of our summer... on the lake! And yes...for those wondering, I was finally able to pull myself out of the water and I can freaking wakeboard! And I am pretty dang good! It was the getting up part that killed me, once I got up I got the hang of it really well and almost perfected my jumping skills (not quite the wake). We had some absolutely wonderful times out there. From sandcastle building, to swimming and tubing with the kids, to being sore everyday from wakeboarding, to being stranded in the middle of quail with the Parks!!! haha! That was really actually a blast! However, Jeremy could not be sadder for boat season to be over. He would live at the lake if I would let him! Haha! Surprisingly...we have very few pictures of our summer times spent... I am trying to get better with a camera, but i have never been a picture go happy person. I always forget! So...we went out last monday, in 70 degree whether with the intent on capturing a few pics of us actually wakeboarding. We took our favorite lake bums out, Rob and Britny, and freaking froze our butts off! Jeremy and Rob were crazy enough to get into the 50 or so degree water while I just said, "Ah...I can capture memories of me out there, next summer." Haha! I did get some good ones of Jeremy! He looks really good out there! ;) For now, it is time to winterize the boat and we are just gonna have to dry our tears on the slopes! YEP! We are so ready for snowboard season now! Bring on the snow!!!!

Can you believe this! Overcast and freezing water! And my lover boy still can strut his stuff!!! Love you baby!!!

Okay Now...Where do I begin?

So...as many of you may have concluded from my lack of blog upkeeping... I am so not good at this sort of thing. So... since summer is comin to a close, I was planning on posting one large blog...but I don't have time for that! haha! I will simply post a couple blogs in a row and hope that I can catch up and keep up! It has been a fantabulous summer! Full of great friends, great bbqs, wonderful lake days and smiling children... most the time! Ryker celebrated his first birthday with some of our closest most adored friends! It was wonderful! We went to the park and just had a little get together and chatted while the kids ran amuck! I honestly can not believe that my little guy is one already! Has time mearly sped up? I think so! His favorite things to play with are any kind of balls... of course. And we got him this little four wheeler for his birthday that he is absolutely glued to! It got kind of annoying after an hour or two cuz he kept running into walls and we would have to keep steering for him! His other thing. If we are not paying attention, he will keep pushing the button on his four wheeler until someone goes crazy enough from the sound to help him out! Haha!!! Its hillarious! His other favorite things are swords and power tools (little kid ones of course) he makes this noise while he points his sword! You would have to see it...but its hilarious! It's crazy the difference between a girl and a boy! I know you hear it all the time...but it is something you have to discover for yourself! Its absolutely the opposite end of the spectrum! And I love having the best of both worlds!!!

Holy cow! Seriously can not believe that time flies by so fast! It really should be a tid kinder! My babies are growing up way faster than I would like them too! Slow down sweet heart! I am trying to keep up! Love you!

Cali Trip!

We took a trip out to California to visit Jer's parents and had a blast! We soaked up the California sun and had so much fun doin it! Nene (the grandkids call her that) had a hike planned for all of us to...can't remember what it was called but it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! All the rock around us was granite and the waterfalls were huge! Jer and I hiked up some of the way but I chickened out bout half way up...I didn't want my kids to be parentless just yet! But it was extremely beautiful and the kids had a blast playing in puddles and trying to find gold!!!

Tatum modeling for me! She is my favoritest girl ever!!!!

Such a stud playin in the warm water!

He thinks he is a badass! haha! I love him!

We also did a lot of playing in the pool and barbequing but I always forget to take pics! Me and Jeremy also went to Six Flags discovery kingdom and it was awesome! I planned on buying a disposable camera but didn't expect them to be $16 dollars! So we went without. But we got season passes so we will for sure get back there!

Lotsa Stuff!!!

So its been awhile...and a lot has happened!!! It is crazy how time flies by when you think it is just tinkerin by. So update! About two months ago...my lovely little boy decided that he needed to take a little trip to the hospital! The story goes like this...we were at the lake with some of our bestest friends; Brit, Rob, Kaysha and kids... we were loadin up the Park's boat and I decided to have a major brain lapse. I put my perfectly in tact child into his infant car seat on the back of the boat and leaned down to pick up our bags. Ryker decided in that moment to lean forward and fell face first into the boat with the car seat right behind him. He hit the floor of the boat and his seat hit his leg and snapped his femur in half. For those of you who are cringing in terror...you have no idea the pain and guilt I put myself in for well...probably the rest of my life. So we went to family practice...cause I do not care for instacare much...and had Dr. Thompson x ray his leg. Sure enough, he told us what I had already known. That friday Jer and I took Ryker to the hospital where they could put Ryker under and wrap him up in his large blue body stint cast. That was by far one of the hardest weeks that I have ever experienced! A child in the hospital should never ever happen! It is amazing what can happen in a few seconds. Life changing obstacles and choices that can never be taken back. For those of you who know Ryker...he is by far the smiliest, happiest baby in the whole world! I thought for sure being in his cast would change that, and that would kill me! But for my sake...Ryker kept up his smiling and laughing and his wonderful personality shined through it all!!! He is honestly the best baby ever! He is healed all up and will have no issues later on in life!!! Thank goodness! Ryker...you are a handful...but the day you started crawling again and you got into anything and everything...I loved every minute of it! I love all the cleaning up and all the chaos you bring into my life! Cause most of all you bring hugs, and loves, and extreme amounts of euphoria!!! You are my baby boy...and you are the happiest little guy I have ever met! Thanks for being you!!!

So I have definately learned that boys are different than girls! And to help me never forget...from carrying Ryker around in his cast I got a very gentle reminder of this time. I have a very odd looking mark on the inside of my left arm...I think I was allergic to his cast cause I got a rash from it and ever since I have some funky markings on the inside of my arm...welp! Whatever! Love ya baby boy!

That's My Girl!!!

Tatum's first year of dance has come to a close. It ended with a rather perfect spring dance recital...the only thing that wasn't perfect was Jeremy was up at work :( but there will be plenty more dance recitals to come! The day was quite hectic, waking early and making it to dress rehearsal and making sure we had all the costumes and materials we needed! We made it there early to save seats for everyone to be there and were ready to go when Tatum told me she didn't want to dance, she just wanted to watch! I was chasing her backstage begging her to sit with the other girls (there was only five minutes til showtime)! She wasn't buying it! My plan to bribe her with anything backfired when she said she didn't need anything! Crap! My three year old is so spoiled I can't even bribe her! Well, I finally convinced her that she needed to dance and she performed without a flaw! She was the most beautiful ballerina I have ever seen! I sat in the audience with the HUGEST giddy smile from ear to ear! I am so proud of my baby girl! She did AWESOME! She not only danced, she did the right dance at the right time and showed off her attitude that I simply can not get enough of!!! I couldn't help but sit in the audience and dance and sing along with all the songs! Ryker even waved his hand in the air along with the music! I can not believe how perfect my world is! Honestly...I feel so complete and lucky to have who I do in my life! And Tatum definatly makes my world perfect!

Here are some more pics from the dance!!!

And for dinner she choose...Fazzolis!!!!! One more reason I love her... she is easy to please!!!!

*First two teeth at two months old (yeah...crazy I know)
*Next four teeth started at four months old (poor kid)

*Making mommy laugh...the whole time
*Pulling over the floor lamp, garbage can, Tatum's baby cradle, and everything else this little guy can get his hands on....eight months
*Making daddy laugh...the whole time
*Topping off my perfect world!!! The day he was born!!!

Ryker you are such and amazing boy! You are smart, funny, HAPPIER than I have ever seen any little baby, sweet, loving, adorable, dimpled, perfect, content, and so much more!!! I could not imagine my life any sweeter! Love you my baby!!!

Reality Check!!!

OMG!!! Today I had the biggest reality check ever!! I was experiencing a wonderful day with my bestest friends- we had a nice lunch at olive garden and I decided to keep the fun going and take all the kids to the pine view park! Little did I know what was lurking ahead of me! So me and Brit get there with Tatum, Brecken and Ryker! Ta needs to go potty so I take her and Breck to the bathroom to see if I could cheer Breck into taking a little pee (didn't work although he did try hard...so cute!) The kids continue to play and Britny left to get her sister from school as Kaysha pulled up! The kids are playing and laughing and my feet are killing because I wasn't planning on going to the park so I wore my favorite Naughty Monkey shoes (thanks Brit for the addiction) I take a seat by Kaysha and put my hand to the side of me to grab my phone! That's when I remembered I left my purse in the bathroom! I jet off to the bathroom (forgetting my feet are swollen and blistered) and find two women in the bathroom with their children. One woman is holding my OPEN wallet, the other is holding my purse! I immediately ask them "What are you doin?" They reply with "I swear I was just looking for a phone number or ID." I grab my stuff walk out of the bathroom and notice that the $291 that I had made the previous nights was MISSING! I go back to the ladies and ask if they had noticed anyone walking in or out of the bathroom! They tell me that they had seen a couple and their kids go in and out. They take their kids and go start playing at the water park while I go and ask the other couple it they had seen anyone. They tell me that they had only seen the other women and their kids go into the bathroom...just as I had thought! I approach the other women again and politely say "Excuse me, I don't mean to offend anyone but I NEED to go through your bags." The women dump out all of their stuff all over the benches and tell me to go at it! I do! By this time, my most favoritest Kaysha had the police on the phone and had taken down license plate numbers from all surrounding vehicles! As I am searching through pairs of pants, one of the ladies excuses herself to wash her hands and returns to the bathroom where the crime had been commited! While she is in the bathroom, her accomplice stuppidly asks me, "Are you sure it isn't hidden in the bathroom somewhere?" Oh my gosh lady! Are you freaking serious! "Why would I hide my own cash in a public restroom?" I reply! I run into the bathroom and look around, returning empty handed! Kaysha goes into the bathroom and says, I watch CSI, let me check around! She comes out with the missing $291! She had found it wedged into the top of the toilet tank!!! WHAT PSYCHO LADIES!!! She took my freaking money and hid it in the toilet tank when she fould out the cops were on there way!!! Being as stupid as they are...obviously, she goes, "I checked in the garbage and everything in there, how did you find that, I was just looking in there?" No kiddin you didn't find it, cause you hid it! FREAKING A!!!! Oh my goodness! We just walk away at the same time Britny returns!!! haha! She missed it all! Lucky girl, even though I know she was dying to be there! Well, the police arrive and I tell them my story and I he asks if he wants me to go and talk to the women. I say no, their kids are around, and even though I am very upset with the fact that they took my money, it was returned, and I don't want their kids to think that their parents are bad people! They seemed to be nice people, I would never have suspected that they would have been the guilty party except for the fact that I saw them holding all my open possesions! That goes to show ya that in this dane (don't know how to spell that) age, you can't trust anyone (not even at the park) to do the right thing! It also goes to show that you need awesome friends like Kaysha, who watches CSI, and knew to check the toilet seats!!! haha! Love you babe! Thanks for being there with me Brit and Kaysha! At least through all of this, we have an awesome story to share in the future! And I finally got to sit down and rest my achy, swollen feet which are covered in icky blisters!

Ryker Ryker Ryker

My baby boy is growing up way too fast! He is seven months and still going! Rollin, army crawlin, and rocking constantly keeps him busy! He chats alot, mostly a lot of ooohhs and ahhhs! Maybe a scream or two or ten! So my previous post about him being the best baby in the world may have been a little off! Well, way off! As much as I love this bundle of joy, I oh so miss sleep! I could count on one hand the full nights of sleep I have gotten since he has graced this world with his presence! I am not complaining, just informing those of you who may wonder why the bags under my eyes get increasingly larger every day! But besides the fact, he is the cutest darn baby boy I have ever seen! My blonde hair, blue blue blue eyed, dimpled boy that we have agreed, looks just like yours truly, finishes off the remainder of my heart! He is the sweetest little chunk ever! A big time blanky baby that adores his binky and mommys hugs! Yay! I did get a cuddler!
