Oh the Joy and Beauty of Christmas!It's that wonderful time of year that we spend with family and friends. We are fortunate enough to have some wonderful very close friends since before Alan and I got married. They are so much fun to play with because our kids are the same age, and we always have such great laughs when we get together! So wish we still lived next door to each other! But I guess Tooele is better than Denver! The weather was so perfect!

We had the wonderful opportunity to participate in sub for Santa this year. Just before we met with our friends we dropped off the gifts to the family at Primary Children s. What an amazing feeling. I know how very blessed I am to have such a happy and healthy family! My prayers go out to those who are in need of so much love and comfort, especially this time of year!

Oh how I love Christmas. Even when I end up with everything around my neck! Yes I am as tall as my husband when he sits.

I think someone had a great time. I was very tempted to join her! Merry Christmas to all of our dear friends and families. We are so grateful to have you in our lives!

I figured I better catch up on some of the fun we have been up to. Thanksgiving was awesome as always, whether with my family or Alan's. This pic is one of Collin Chou's super model wife Wanda and their little girl. They are super nice. He is the Jade Lord in the Kung Fu movie The forbidden Kingdom. One of my most favorite movies, even before I met him. They are friends with my cousin and like to come visit him and my mom. Word of advice, always look your best, you never know who you will be visiting with that day.

We have been hit hard with snow this Nov. This is the park across the street from our house. Perfect for any season right? It has been packed with kids since Fri. Too cold for me!!!!!

And last but not least. We are getting ready to welcome another little BOY into our home and lives. We are all super excited, but none more than Braedon. I was pretty sure it was a boy because of how sick I have been. Braedon made me really sick as well. I did prepare Kam before and she took it very well. She now knows that she is the extra special girl in the fam.

I have been truly blessed with some amazing friends. You know who you are! Thank you for your love. Actions really do say more than words at times.

Basement Update

This post is mostly for aunt Marlene. Hope it finds you well! Finishing the basement is coming along. There's only a couple of corners left, and the drywall will be done. Of course Alan hates to mud and tape, so hopefully my friend will be available. I don't know why, but she loves doing it. The kids enjoyed helping dad on sat. Can't wait for an actual family entertainment room. Also, if anyone needs any electrical done, Tony Manning just started his own business. He is fast, honest, and affordable.

School is now in session!

Both kiddies are now in school! How sad. I really never look forward to school starting. I love being with my kids. They are both loving it so far. Alan of course is loving this time of year because... yes you guessed it FOOTBALL. First game is this Sat.! He couldn't be more excited.

Braedon's day!

Summer Recital

Today was Braedon's day to SHINE! And shine he did!

What a sweet boy he is! For all those wondering, yes he does throw his fits off and on about practicing, but only sometimes. He is such a great kid.

Now that's a face anyone can love. Thank you Gma and Gpa Sharp for not missing any recitals yet! It really means a lot! An hour and 10min. drive just for a 25 min. recital. We love you. We went to JCmichalson's for dinner after. It was yummy and fun. We love the trains all through out the restaurant.

Happy 4th of July

I hope every one had as much fun on the 4th(3rd) as we did. Alan's brother bringing his family always makes it extra special. Big slides, horse rides, yummy food, fire works, demolition derby, grandma spoiling them rotten, and PERFECT weather! More importantly, the freedom to be able to do all these things and more. What more could you ask for on the 4th!

We finally found and put up the finishing touch to this wall in Breadons room. He loves it. Very inexpensive at Quilted Bear, we did have to special order it though.

Canyon cook out!Alan's brother and his family came and stayed with us for the family reunion. He went back to work and his wife and kids stayed with us. We thought a hot dog cook out and smores in the canyon would be fun.

I was trying to think of fun entertainment with out paying tons of money. So off to Spanish for Res. we went. We had a blast for 40 mins. Then the wind, lightning, and thunder came.

Summer fun beginnings!

Hurray! Summer has officially started. So far we have been to Salem pond, and the other day we broke out the Slip N' Slide(Bday gift from aunt Serena). We have set it up twice, and we'll be taking it to Delta. Spanish Fork Res., Payson Water Park and Swimming lessons are on the list! We're having a blast so far!

Can't forget making new friends. Our next door neighbor Katie is a cute little thing, her and Kam play for hours!

2 Wheel Rider!

Wahoo!

Kambrie is now a 2 wheel maniac. We took the training wheels off last year and she wanted nothing to do with her bike since then. Out of nowhere, she started riding her friends little 2 wheel bike. Then moved on to hers, she just took off. I guess she showed us.

Weeeee! There's no stopping her now! The school parking lot right behind our house is getting it's share of use.

Surviving in the Cold!

Wilderness fun!

As always, we had a fun filled camping trip to Oak City Canyon.

My sister decided it was time for my kids to learn how to climb a tree. Of course Kam was the first to speak up. She did really good, until she slid off and scratched up her tummy. Oh well,no Pain no Gain. Right?
Braedon camped one more day than us, and still wasn't ready to come home.

This year we hiked to a place called Devils Den. It was so much fun. The kids did really good as well.

There's nothing like a family camp out! Even though Alan and I froze the first night. We got a total of maybe 1 hr of sleep a piece. We decided to brave the next night, and it turned out better.

Pre-school Graduate!

Kambrie Dawn Sharp is now a V.I.P Preschool Graduate! Ahhhhhh, my age is showing! Where is my baby girl? We are super proud of you Kam. We LOVE you sooooo much!

She helped lead the pledge of allegiance at the start of the program. I tell you the girl is fearless.

Spoiled and still lovable!

Boy birthdays are so much easier. This year Braedon had his party at Nickle City in Orem. He and his friends had a blast. Playing games and laser tag.

Ready for action! Yes they won. Even Kam got some targets. Our kids love laser tag.

Here we come!

Braedon is so easy going. He said he wanted a football cake and this is what I came up with last minute. He is such a sweetie, he loved it. Not to mention, he said this year all he wanted was an Iron Man 2 action figure. He got it, and then some. He is now set for summer water fun. Thanks to grandma and grandpa sharp and friends. 4 water blasters.
