For  this  card  I began  with  a  base of  gold  card  and  several  sheets of paper  from Lili of  the  valley's  Christmas  Paper  Pads  . The  stamped image is  LOTV's  Winter Bunnies which I  coloured  with  Promarkers  , I  added  Aleenes  Glitter Snow and  extra  glitter ,Christmas  Ribbon  , Doodle  Dewdrops  ,peeloffs  and  Card  Candi  to  complete  the  card  .

I  bought  this  Stamposaurus  stamp  at  a  craft  fair  recently because I  thought it  so  cute  . It is  called Ho Ho Ho appropriately  . The  background paper  is  from  Lili of  the  Valley 'Twas  the  Night'  Paper  pad  .I  cut out  and  coloured  the  stamp  with promarkers  and  put  white   flock  and  glitter  glue  to  sparkle it.  I  used  Aleenes  glitter  snow  .The  sentiment is  one  I designed  and the  embellishments  are  Christmas  Ribbon  ,star  confetti  and  bells and die cut tree  .

To make  this  card I used--
The  left over  cardboard  shape  from  a  free  set of  sentiments , .
Table  confetti  from  past  Christmases ,
Paper  scraps ,
Peel offs left on  a  sheet  ,
Embossing powder in  a  colour  I  do  not  prefer  !!!
The  remains of  a  bottle of  stickles  and  snow .

When I  saw  this  challenge  I  saw it  as  an opportunity  to  sort  through  the  ever mounting paper  stash  that comes  out  each  yearwhen  I  begin my Christmas  Cards.   .
I  am  a  great hoarder  and have lots  of  scraps of paper I  can't  throw  away  . I  also  keep  things  that  may  come in useful  and  this  applies  to  the  main  part of  this  card  .
I got it  as  a  freebie  with  a  magazine  a  couple of  years  ago  and have used  the  Christmas  sentiments  and  pictures  that  popped out of it  . Conveniently  it  was  covered  with  a  self  adhesive  film  which on  peeling off  left  a  sticky  surface  . The  green  embossing  powder has been  lurking in  my  tray for  ages  and is  not  a  colour I  am  fond of  . However  it  was ideal  for  covering  this  shape  .
The  snow I added  was  the remains of  a  bottle of  stickles  (how  hard it is  to  get  the last  drop out !)
The peel offs  were  the last  remaining on  a  sheet  where I  had  used  all  the  horizontal ones  .
I  am  a  great  collector of  table  confetti  and it  was  an ideal  tiime  to  sort it out   and  add  some  to  each  aperture  .Making  this  card  has helped  me  to  sort out  my  Christmas  Stash .

The  background  papers  for  this  card  are  from  Lili of  the  Valley  . The  doorway  is  cut  from  a  Cricut  cartridge  and I used  a piece of  yellow  silk  paper  to  give  the impression of  light  . The  topiary  trees  are  punched holly leaves  embellished  with  flowersoft and  stickles  . The  sticks  are  cut  from  cotton  buds  with  ribbon  wound  atround  them  . I  added  bows  and  Aleenes  glitter  snow  to the  card  and  a Lili of  the  Valley  sentiment  .
I  can just imagine  the  boys  response  to  having his  photo   taken  before  Carol  Singing  !!!

Having  tried  an  all  white  card this  week  ,I  turned  to  a gold one  .I  tried  to  'colour' it  with  texture  rather than  colours  .
I  began  by  dry  embossing  some  foil  to  cover  the main  card  .The background  border  was  a  Cricut one   from  Paper Lace  cartridge  which  I  coloured  gold  with  gilding  wax  . Another  matte  gold  card  was embossed   for  the main  mat . I  had  some  gold  ribbon in  my  stash  with  tiny gold  stars on it  so  this  added  another ' colour  '. The  stamp is  a  wreath  from  Penny  Black  which  I  stamped  and  embossed in  gold  .I  then  added  black  liquid  pearls  and  stickles  and  a  bow  .The  stamp is  mounted  in  a  die  cut  from  Sue  Wilson's  Italian  Collection which I  edged  with  gold  gilding  wax  .
A  peel off  sentiment  and  lines  completed  the  card.

I tried  this  card  first of  all  stamping  a  White  tree  usinf  Penny Black  Chritmas  tree  but  it  didn't  stand out on  white  card  so I  decided  to  try it with  black  embossing  powder and it  improved it  . I  dry  embossed  the  whole  card  and  used  pearl moon  gilding  wax  all over it  . The  stamp  was  stamped  on  a  frame of  Martha  Stewart 'All aound  the page  punch  (snowflake ) '. I also  added  a  frame  cut  from  a  cricut  cartridge  behind  the  bauble  .The  bauble  die is  cut  from a  Desire  die and  then  glittered  .
The  embellishments  that I used  were ribbon, liquid  pearls a Cricut  sentiment  and  shadow,Pine  branch  from  Marianne  Die  'Pine  Branch '. I  added  doodle  dewdrops  over  the  card .

I wanted  to limit myself  to  few  colours  this  week  and  experimented  with this Penny  Black  Christmas  tree  on  White  . It  didnt  show up  so  I  changed  it  to  black  and  decorated it  with  stickles and  glitter  I  dry  embossed  the  whole  card  and  framed  the  stamped  image  . The   bauble  is  a  Desire. die. I added  ribbon, peel offs  and metallic  stars  before  mounting  the  shape onto  black  card  and  spraying it  with  multicolour Spray  and  Sparkle  .

SIMPLY CREATE TOO MID-POST- "HALLOWEEN [or ORANGE]" CHALLENGE #72

This  Halloween  card  is  the only  one I have  made  this year  and I  used  some  aspects of my  new  toy  to make it  . I  have  a new  scan  and  cut  |( its  really  an early  Christmas present  ,but I had to  see if it  woeks  didn't I  ? )  The  witch is  from  the  scan  and  cut  . I  glittered  the  spiders  web  border  and the  embellishments  are  confetti  and peel offs  . I  sprayed  the  whole  card  with  Crafters  companion  Spray  and  Sparkle  multiicolour  .This  is  really  effective  but the  photo  doesnt  show it up  clearly  .

I  just love  this  stamp from  Lili of  the  valley  .It is  'The night before  Christmas  '  and  so  appropriate  for  a  baby's first  Christmas  . The  background  papers  are  from  LOTV  paper pad Pastel  Dreams,
The  snowflake  border  is  from  a  Joy  die  . The  bauble  is  from  a  desire  die  which I  glittered  .
The  embellishments  are  ribbon,peel offs  and  gingham  card  candi  .

I love promarkers Challenge #241- Snowflakes

This  card  is  for  Baby's  first  Christmas  and I  feel  that  this  stamp  is  ideal  for  it  .It is  a  Lili of  the  Valley  stamp 'The  night before  Christmas ' which  unfortunately  they  are  retiring  so I  am  glad  that  I have it . I coloured it  with  promarkers  . The  border is  a  snowflake  all  around  the  page  punch  by  Martha  Stewart which I coloured  with  gilding  wax . The  snowflake  and  snowflake  border  are  from  Joy  Craft and  the  embellishments  are  Pearls  and  peeloffs  .The  sentiment is  printed on Letraset Safmat ..

Another  rest  from  Christmas  cards  today .This  card is  a  handbag  card  from  Whichcraft  with  a  different  slant  . I thought  it  would  be a suitable background for   the  mermaid  stamp  from  Lili  of the valley  The  background  is  acetate  with  a  water  pattern on it  , The  shell  and  seaweed  are  cut  from  a  cricut  cartridge  and  the  sand is  gold  flowersoft  . The  bubbles  are doodle  dewdrops  and  drops of  glossy  accents  .The  sentiment is  from  my  stash  . The  whole  frame is  edged  with  gilding  wax and  the  mermaids  are  embellished  with  glossy  accents  to make  them  look  wet   .

Challenge #233 - Christmas - Optional Twist Bags, Boxes and Tags

I  decided  to have  a  break  from  Christmas  cards  and  make  a  gift  bag instead . The actual  brown  bag  is one of  those lovely ones  that  Lil of the  Valley  sell  their  goods in .I  thought it  might  come in useful ,and like  many  other  crafters kept it  , I  am  glad that I  did   .The  background  papers  are also   LOTV .from  their  Christmas  Paper  pads . I  edged  them in  red  gilding  wax  . The image  is  a Heather  Ellis one  and  is  edged  with  a cricut  die  cut  . I used  chunky  white   frantage for  the  snow  . The other  dies I used  are pine  branch from  Marianne  design   and  snowflake  from  Joycraft . The snowflake  edge is  Martha  Stewart's all  around  the page  punch .
To  embellish  I  used  ribbon ,wooden  gingerbread men  and  snowflake ,small  red  pompoms  and  card  candi  . The  tag is  cut  from  a  Cricut  cartridge and  edged in  gilding  wax  .
What  better  than  to  receive  this  filled with  crafting goodies  for Christmas !! Perhaps  I  should leave it out  for  Father  Christmas  ??

Fantasy Stampers # 21 - Time Flies!

This  very large  card  was  made for  a  child  with  the  object of  learning  to  tell  the  time  .
The  base  card  is  a large  piece of  strong  acetate .
The  main  base of  the  clock  was  cut  using  a  cricut  cartridge  and  covered  with Indigoblu  megaflakes 
The  mouse  was  also  cut  by  using  a  cricut  cartridge  . The stamp is 'Time  flies' by  Lili of the  Valley   coloured  with  alcohol  markers  and  embellished  with  stickles  glitter  glue  and  glitter  and  Panpastel  .
The  clock  face  is  die  cut  using  a Marianne  Craftables  Clock  die  with the  hands  attached using  a  brad  so  they  are  moveable  . The  roman  numerals  add  another facet of  learning  . I  really  enjoyed  working on  a large  card project  that  could be  used for  another  purpose  .

Winter Wonderland Lace and Pearls

I  used  a Heather  Ellis image  for  this  Christmas Card which  once  coloured  I  embellished  with  stickles  glitter  glue  ,white  flower  soft  and  glossy  accents . I  coloured  the lace using  alcohol  pens  .The other  embellishments  are  pearls  ribbon  washi  tape  and  a  safmat  sentiment  .The  die  cut  border is  from  Sue  Wilson's Italian  Collection  .

For  this  baby  card I  used  Lili of  The  Valley's  bunny moon  stamp  which  I coloured  with  promarkers  and  topped  with  glossy  accents and  glitter   . The  sentiment is  also   from LOTV  and is ' Calendar '.The  frame is  from  Sue  Wilson's  Italian  Collection  . I  coloured  the lace  in  shades of  pink  using Promarkers   and made  the  'Its  a  girl ' sentiment  using  Safmat

Fab n Funky Challenge #232 ~Anything with ribbon.

I used  an  embossed paper  from  my  stash  which  I  distressed  with bundled sage   . The  striped  papers  are  from  LOTVs' Twas  the  Night 'paper  Pad . I used  Chunky  White  Frantage  on  the paper .
The  digi is  a  Heather  Ellis  which  iI  find  so  C  and  S  . I used  Aleen's  Glitter  snow  ,diamond  Stickles  and  Liquid  Pearls  for  the  various  snow  parts  . The  star  was  white  on  which  I  used alcohol  markers  and  glitter   . The  two  ribbons  are  my  favourite  for  my Christtmas  cards  this year.

I love promarkers Challenge #240 - Autumn Colours

The  background  Papers  for  this  card  were  designed using  Serif  Craft  artist  and  white  card  distressed  with  Distress ink  . The  leaves  were  die  cut  from  Spellbinders  dies  and  a Cricut  cartridge  . I  ten  coloured  them  with  promarkers  using  many  Autumn  shades  .They  were  then  covered in  Gloosy  Accents  and  Glitter  . The  sentiment  was from  my  stash  and  appropriate  for me   after  glittering  the  card !!!!

This is  the  card  with  which   I  won  Guest  Designer  at  Fussy  and  Fancy  Challenge  See  this  at http://fussyandfancychallenge.blogspot.co.uk/ . It is  all  pink  to  celebrate  Breast  Cancer  Awareness  . I used  Sherri Baldy 'Daffodilly ' digi  stamp   for  this  which  I  coloured  with  promarkers  and  finished  with  glossy  accents  . I  used  a  variety  of  background  papers  which  I  dry  embossed  . I cut  the hat with  a  woodware  punch  .The  embellishments  are ribbon  .flowers  and  doodle  dewdrops  .The  tags  are also  from  lili of  the  valley    .

For this  card ,I used  LOTV  background  papers  , The  stamp is  also  LOTV and is  called  'Christmas  Star .' I  coloured  this  with promarkers  and  added  Stickles  and  glitter  on the  fur  and  stars  (not  as  sparkly on  photo as in real life   !!!). I used  Aleene's  snow on the  base of the  stamp  and  liquid  pearls on  the  tree  . The other  tree  is  also  coloured  with liquid  pearls  and  gems  and  stars  were used  for the  decoration  topped  with  glitter  .On  the  base of the  card  I  used  chunky  white  frantage  and  mica  flakes  ,The  sentiment  was from  my  stash  .

Crafty Little Fairies OCTOBER: Only One DP

The  background  paper  for this  card is  from  LOTV's  paper Pad  'On  a  high  Note  '. I  stamped  Lili of the  Valley's 'Wish upon  a  star'  three  times  and  coloured  them  with  promarkers  . I  coloured  white  ribbon  pink  and  white  daisies  to  match  the  background  colours   .The  sentiment  and  ballet  shoes  charm  are  from  my  stash   .Embellishments  are  Peel offs , card  candi  ,musical  notes  and  confetti  stars  .

Suzy Bee's Bloomin Challenge # 49 ATG with a Twist Get Well ........

This  house mouse image is  from my  favourite  stamp of  all  time  .I just  love  this  message  and it  usually  cheers up  the  patient . I used red   distress ink  around  the  edges  and  backed  the  image  with  gingham paper  from  my  stash  . I used  promarkers  to  colour  the image  and added  red gingham  ribbon  and  a  rub on  sentiment  .

I  bought  these  papers  and  stamp from  a  show on  Saturday  and  given the  change in  the  weather  today  it  made  me  think of  Autumn  and  the lovely  colours in  the  papers  echo  this  .Rather  than  housework  I thought  I  would have  a  play  with them !
I  used  papers  from  LOTV  Enchantment  Paper  Pad  and  the  stamp is  also  from  Lili of  the  Valley  ,it is 'The  perfect  tree ' .I  coloured  it  with promarkers  .
The  embellishments I used  are  white  ribbon  (coloured  with  brown  promarker ! ) diecut  leaves  from  Spellbinders  Aster  die , peel offs  and  doodle  dewdrops  coloured  with  permanent  pens  . The  sentiment  I made  myself

I love Promarkers Challenge # 239 - Winter Birthday

This  stamp  is  by  Lili of  the  Valley  which is called  'Icy  Angel'. I  coloured  it  with  promarkers  and  added  lots  of  glitter  both  clear  and  turquoise  . The background papers  are Raspberry  Road  Winter  Wonderland  .I used  Aleenes  glitter  snow  to  give  a  raised  effect  and added more  glitter  /
The  embellishments  are  peel offs  and  a  sentiment  from  my  stash  .

Fab n Funky Challenge #231 Halloween

I  decided  that  I  needed  to  do  something  different  to  a  card for a change. A friend  said  she  was  taking  a  baby  to  a  Halloween  Party  and  I  thought  that  this  would  be  a  suitable  take  home  present  for  a  baby  to  celebrate  the  first  Halloween  .
I love  making  these  cute  shoes  and  giving  them  as  a gift in  an  acetate  box ,hence the  tag .
The  papers  came  from  Serif  craft  artist  halloween  as  did  the image  . When  completed I  used  gold  spray  and  sparkle  from  Crafters  companion  to  strengthen  them  as  well  as  adding sparkle  . The laces  were  made  from  a  scrap  of  cord from  my  old  clothes  . I used  black  peel offs  for  the  eyelets. The  embellishments  were  coated  with  glossy  accents    and  the  ribbon  for the tag  was  coloured  with promarkers .
