Lesson
SO, I have a secret. There was a time when I collected Beanie Babies. (don't judge) When I say collected, I mean that I have 300. In my closet. I have had an inner battle over the last 5-10 years over how much I hate the space that they take up. I should just get rid of them, but I spent a fortune on them! Anyhow, now they belong to my girls, and today they taught me a lesson. I was letting the kiddos play with them (dump them all out and frolic around), and it was time to clean up before bed. They were not cooperating, as little kids do when it is time to clean up, so I picked up one beanie baby, and said,"If you don't help me clean up, I will throw this puppy dog in the garbage." I felt kind of silly, for the fact there were so many of these bean bags, what is losing one? They in turn, rushed to dog's rescue and cleaned up like it was the only toy they owned.
I just thought to myself, how great is that, they have a bazillion of these toys and they are so compassionate about one in jeopardy! This little scenario today made me think about how grateful I am that Heavenly Father loves and cares for each one of us, and how much he values our importance. My kids are reminding me of this, in our minuscule day to day trials. This lesson almost passed over me without recognizing it, but the more I think about it as I lay down to sleep, the more I don't want to forget it. Aren't I supposed to be the one teaching the lessons? :)

My Girls
Here are just a few of our Mexico photos. I really needed to post just a couple, and this will hopefully motivate me to post more and do a better job of documentation before I forget all the fun we had! We really enjoyed spending time with our loved ones and the beautiful beach/ocean at our doorstep.

Ava Clair Bear
Here is our Clair Bear. She is really expanding her vocabulary lately. It is so nice to hear her and know what she wants! She is almost two now, and she is so different than Olivia. Completely the opposite end of the spectrum. She likes to get dirty, prefers to play by herself, draw on things other than paper (you name it), she throws very dramatic fits right now, she is a light sleeper, and it takes forever to get her to sleep! I guess we have started the "terrible two's" early, so maybe she will finish them early? ?
She drives me crazy the quickest, but also is the fastest to melt my heart. She is great at sharing with her sisters (unless it's her blankie or her pillow). When Olivia asks for some of her brownie, Ava will break off more than half and give the big piece to her, like no big deal! Olivia loves chocolate too much to even share a bite without being forced.

Daddy Daughter Date
I just snapped this picture before Scott and Olivia they headed to the Candy Shoppe, where Olivia could pick out a piece of any kind of candy she wanted. Scott opened the door for her and she bolted. Grabbing a "Smartie" for her in one hand, one for Ava in the other hand, and said "Daddy, I am ready to go." He was thinking, we are in a speciality candy shoppe, and you go for a smartie?? So he helped her pick out some more of a variety of candy. They headed for the waterfront downtown, where Scott carried her, running all the way to the end of the dock, just to then agree to head to the back to the car. It was way too cold outside!

Quiet Time
The girls have a bedtime of 7:30pm and this is when I get to catch up on all of my projects! I have so many! From crocheting to sewing to reading, and oh yes...cleaning, there is much I want so badly to catch up on. SO I say "quiet time", but really it is more like ScRaMbLE TIME because there is so much I want to do that my mind is racing the whole time. But I have a new project that is taking me by storm. I have caught the photography bug!!! I took some pictures of my cousin's wedding a few weeks ago, and here are some of the ones I have had time to edit. I think I may be editing pictures in my dreams tonight. ALL this, and I haven't even gotten to any pics with the groom yet. Oh Boy.
